It provides access to 4.5 million articles of more than 2,600 titles in the fields of medical, life science, engineering, basic science, and humanity and social science. Approximately 90% of the full-text articles are available for free. This website contains a database of information for applicants searching for research jobs and job postings for research and education positions in industries, academia, and the public sector. Both applicants and recruiting institutions can search online for postings or individuals respectively that meet their needs. More than 17,000 public job openings are available every year More than 1.4 million site visits per month The degree of recognition of the website is quite high, especially among Ph.D. s. 7 researchmap JREC-IN Portal JaLC & Others Connecting Japan Lasting Access Japan Link Center er) The Japan Link Center (JaLC) provides open, sustainable access to academic information with the aid of Digital Object Identifiers (DOI). It is the only Japanese organization authorized by the DOI Foundation as a Registration Agency for DOI and is administered jointly by four academic institutions data, and e-learning materials. JaLC has 37 regular members and 1,765 associate members. Approximately five million DOIs have been assigned by the agency so far. It collaborates with Crossref and DataCite to allow DOIs registered via JaLC to be deposited with these organizations.
