4 Research Literature Current research literature can be found in articles / papers Published articles Articles from journals or edited volumes (e.g. Handbook of Finance) Usually peer review process For some areas, journal rankings are very important (e.g. the VHB JourQual ranking, Journal Citation Reports) Where you can find published articles: literature databases Other ( unpublished ) articles: working papers, discussion papers Normally no peer review process Where you can find them: in working paper databases or on Google Scholar 4
