2 Page 2 of 6 Search vehicles either in lane or online from one site. ADESA.ca is a one-stop-shop for all your inventory needs. Getting started 1. Log IN TO ADESA.CA Enter your user ID and password. IF YOU ARE NOT YET REGISTERED: Access ADESA.ca and click on the REGISTER NOW button. Complete and submit the online registration form; Customer Connection will then contact you to complete your registration information. NOTE: Effective July 2013, for users associated to more than one organization, you will be prompted to choose an organization at your first log in. This will set the default for all subsequent logins. Users can change the default organization by accessing MY ADESA in the main navigation and then SITE PREFERENCES in the sub-navigation bar. SEARCH FOR VEHICLes ON RUN List There are two options in pulling Run Lists: The Classic view allows you to get RUN LISTS with minimal search options and filter capabilities and will return results at a physical auction or on LIVEBLOCK. This is similar to the lists you would see printed at auctions. The Detailed view allows you to view all inventories either online or in lane with the ability to add more search criteria. CLassiC VieW Click on the RUN LISTS button in the middle of the Or, click on the BUY button on the main navigation bar and then click on RUN LIST SEARCH from the sub navigation bar.

3 Page 3 of 6 2. ENTER SEARCH Criteria Search by auction, consignor and/or make & model. Click SEARCH for results. 3. VieW SEARCH RESULts In SEARCH RESULTS PAGE, click on RUN # to see Options and Announcements on a single vehicle. Click HIDE ALL or SHOW ALL to toggle on/off options and announcements for all vehicles. PRINT or EXPORT TO EXCEL your search results. NOTE: Anything in teal are links to more information and you can click on them. detailed VieW Click on the RUN LISTS button in the middle of the Click on the BUY button on the main navigation bar and then click on GLOBAL SEARCH from the sub navigation bar. Or, click on the QUICK SEARCH OPTIONS on the left navigation. NOTE: Searches will return results for vehicles offered at a physical auctions (RUN LISTS) on simulcast online auctions (LIVEBLOCK) or online (DEALERBLOCK). 2. ENTER SEARCH Criteria Select certain search criteria such as make, model, year, state and other options. Click SEARCH to see results. NOTE: Vehicles available for purchase will be displayed in this auction channel order: Bid now/buy now (DEALERBLOCK) Physical auction (RUN LIST) and Simulcast online (LIVEBLOCK).

4 Page 4 of 6 3. VieW SEARCH RESULts Your results will be displayed on the SEARCH RESULTS PAGE. Click the year/make/model/series description of the unit to view it VEHICLES DETAILS PAGE. SEARCH FOR VEHICLES ON LIVEBLOCK Click on the LIVEBLOCK button in the middle of the Click on the BUY button on the main navigation bar and then click on LIVEBLOCK from the sub navigation bar. NOTE: LIVEBLOCK will open in a new window. 2. VieW SEARCH RESULts View inventory by location, consignor and sale date. Sort results by clicking on column headings. Refine search by clicking on drop-down boxes. SEARCH FOR VEHICLES ON DEALERBLOCK Click on the DEALERBLOCK button in the middle of the Click on BUY in the main navigation bar, then select GLOBAL SEARCH in the sub navigation bar. Use the QUICK SEARCH box on the main navigation bar to the right and enter VIN, year, make or model. NOTE: In the QUICK SEARCH box, uou can also enter a combination of these search terms or you can enter free-form text for your search criteria. An example of free form text would be to enter RED 2002 MUSTANG.

5 Page 5 of 6 2. ENTER SEARCH Criteria Select certain search criteria such as make, model, year, state and other options. Click SEARCH to see results. NOTE: You can save your search to use the same criteria for a future search. To store your search options, click SAVED SEARCH. The stored search criteria will be available from the SAVED SEARCH Quick link on the Home Page. 3. VieW SEARCH RESULts Your results will be displayed on the SEARCH RESULTS PAGE. Click the year/make/model/series description of the unit to view it VEHICLES DETAILS PAGE. NOTE: To monitor a vehicle you are interested in, click ADD TO WATCHLIST. Create SAVed SEARCHes On SEARCH RESULTS PAGE, click on SAVE THIS SEARCH. Enter your criteria.

6 Page 6 of 6 CONTROL YOUR SEARCH CRITERIA 4. ACCess SEARCH SETTINGS Click on MY ACCOUNT in the main navigation bar and then SITE PREFERENCES in the sub navigation bar.
