2 User Id and Password Setup Below are the steps to set up your user id and password to use the E-Training System. Step 1: Open Internet Explorer and go to the website. 2 of 10

3 Step 2: As a FIRST TIME user, you must register. Click the register button. NOTE: You need only to register 1 time, and then use your username and password to log in thereafter. 3 of 10

4 Step 3: Enter your personal information as indicated and click submit. (* = required) Enter your first and last name, , company information. Create your user name/password. Write down your username and password. This username and password will be what you use when you log in. NOTE: YOUR USER NAME CANNOT HAVE ANY SPACES. Access code will be given to you by your User Group Administrator or by Manitowoc Crane CARE 4 of 10

5 Step 4: Once you log in, you will see your personal transcript (Course progress and test results). You will also see a navigation toolbar on the left side of your screen. Your name will appear here Your ID will appear here Navigation Toolbar Course Progress & Test results 5 of 10

6 E-Training User Functions Below is a table outlining the functions available for an E-training user: E-Training - User Setup Instruction & Functions Navigation Toolbar Item Function 1 View/Edit Your User Profile Ability to view/edit your personal contact info, , etc) 2 View Personal transcript Ability to view your course (s) progress & test results 3 Course Ability to take your course (s). Saving your work see below 4 Misc Not used 5 Testing Ability to take your test for the course (s) registered Saving Tests see below Ability to use the reference library in which all calculator tools are available for use. 6 Reference Library (Basic, Scientific, Electrical, Mechanical, etc) NOTE: Each user is to register 1 time and login using the id/password in which they registered. Once you have completed your registration, you now have a user id and password in which you can log into the E-training website. You now are able to log into the e-training website with your username and password. You do not need to register. 6 of 10

7 Courses - Saving your work If you are in the middle of taking a course, you are able to bookmark your location so you can go back to it at a later time. Click Bookmark from the top toolbar to save your last location. You will then get a dialog box, and you will then need to click Save Bookmark to save your location. 7 of 10

8 Courses - Retrieving your last location If you were in the middle of taking a course, and need to go back to your last location, open the course again, then: Click Bookmark from the top toolbar to retrieve your last location. You will then get a dialog box, and you will then need to click Get Bookmark to retrieve your location. 8 of 10

9 Tests - Saving your work If you are in the middle of a test, you are able to save your work by selecting the Bookmark option from the toolbar: Click Bookmark from the top toolbar to save your location. You must first complete the whole page, however. You will see this dialog box if you have not finished the whole page. It will allow you to change your answers on that page when you return. 9 of 10

10 Tests Retrieving your last location E-Training - User Setup Instruction & Functions If you were in the middle of taking a test, and need to go back to your last location, open the test again, then: Click Go To Your Bookmark from the top toolbar to go back to your last location. 10 of 10
