By clicking on Preview you will be able to print or save the Material List to pdf. 41

This list has a small diagram of all profiles and accessories next to the code for quick reference. If you click on the List Editor at the top of the preview page you can again select the information and format you would like to show. Optimized cutting list From the Window Schedule screen, select Optimized Cutting List. This printout will give you the best way to cut your material in order to get the least waste on your lengths. 42

It gives you a list of profiles required for the contract, the finish required, the number of lengths required and the waste for that profile. The length that Quick Quote calculates this on is from the Profile Definition which is based on the standard length as per the Price List. You can choose to show the Window number on the cutting schedule. There is an option to change the length or ask Quick Quote to calculate an optimal length. This is however only available to large contract orders. Please contact your nearest branch to discussed special lengths. 43

ENERGY COMPLIANCE (Natural Environmental Control) From Window Schedule click Project Information Window Schedule Select Energy settings tab then naturally ventilated (1). Select the climatic zone (2), and number of floors (3), and input floor area (4), for each floor. Energy Settings tab After the above steps you are now ready to go into Window schedule and start making the first window. 44

Window Definition Building sketch For each window the floor number (1), orientation (2) must be selected for Quick Quote to calculate correctly. In case of a window having an external shade device or extended slab protruding above the over hang Po (3), and Height of Ho (4) has to be defined in the window definition. Windows on all floors and all directions must be defined as separate items in the window schedule of the project. The orientation of each window and any other difference impact the energy calculations significantly. Once all windows have been defined the Window Schedule and Energy Report will indicate compliance or non-compliance with SANS 204. The filter icon beside the Energy Report button will filter the windows by floor in preparation of the Energy Report. For each Floor the area ratio window to floor area (75.6%) as well as target Conductance and target Solar Heat Gain is indicated against the actual calculated values. The red mark indicates non compliance and the green mark indicates compliance. For the project to comply both conductance and solar heat gain must be indicated as green. 45

Window Schedule after pressing the filter. In this case target conductance is (140) and actual conductance is ( ). Similarly target solar heat gain is (12) whereas the actual is (40.072). The Energy report can then be generated by pressing the Energy Report button shown in red circle in the above picture. It gives a summary floor by floor and window by window as shown below. Energy Report output. 46

ENERGY COMPLIANCE (Centrally Controlled Artificial Ventilation or Air Conditioning) In the energy settings tab tick the Air con (1) option then input the height of floor (2) for each floor and length of facade facing in its direction/orientation (3) as defined in the table and sketch below. Once the energy settings are correctly entered proceed to define each and every window on each floor in each direction. Window Schedule after pressing the filter. The red mark indicates non compliance in the North direction, indicates non compliance in the South direction, indicates non compliance in the West direction, indicates non compliance in the East direction. The green mark indicates compliance in all directions. 47

All directions North North East East South East South South West West North West compliance non compliance non compliance non compliance non compliance non compliance non compliance non compliance non compliance Energy Report 48

System drawings You can generate system drawings for preview from Window definition, Window Builder by clicking the system drawing or SD button or from the Technical Prints. In the preview window you can then save as a dxf file. The List editor has a System Drawing tab where various options can be switched on and off including option for inserting logo for pdf output. 49

Excel export The Material order and Quotation can be exported to xlsx files for further editing if one wishes to do so. This can be done by clicking the Export button or Save to Excel button 50

TECHNICAL PRINTS From the Window Schedule screen you can select Technical Prints which will give you all the project information you will need to execute your project. Click the icon to generate. Each of these options have access to the List Editor which enables you to select the information that you would like to indicate or hide. 51

Cutting list As previously discussed, a list of all aluminium profiles, accessories by quantity and length, glass, Hulabond etc. Including cutting sizes, quantity and position. Blue print Each item is shown in elevation indicating dimensions of transomes, mullions, glass and positioning of accessory items which assists with assembly in the factory. 52

System Drawing As stated earlier system drawings can be generated for the whole project or selected windows in the project and the windows are all in one document for preview and can be saved as pdf or dxf. The list editor is still available for various SD options. Window schedule This option prints out a quick reference guide indicating the item I.D, configuration, quantity, finish, area and glass type. 53

Profile cutting list From a list of profiles you require for the contract you can select which profiles you would like to print out and formulate a cutting schedule for the factory. The cutting List will indicate profile reference diagram, code, cut type, quantity and item I.D. for which it is to be used. 54

Labels You are able to print labels for your profiles indicating Project number and name, client name, item I.D, profile code, profile length, position, function, location, and description. Costing You are able to print the Project Costing screen as accessed from the Window Schedule screen. We thank you for purchasing our Quick Quote Gineri Software.
