2 In the unlikely event that Shopbox appears to act a little lazy and some of its functions refuse to follow your orders, there is no reason to panic. Most of them are common connection problems that can happen to any device and are easy to fix. In the meantime, this brochure can explain how to confront the most common errors. 3 PRINTER (BLUETOOTH) If you are usin the printer intensely, occasionly it can loose connection. All you need to do is restart the application, and most of the time the printer will reconnect immediately. Restart printer - turn off (wait 15s) and turn back on Restart app Do test print Fiure 1 If the printer still refuses to do its job, it most likely disconnected from the ipad. Do the followin steps: Fiure 2 Step 1 Go to ipad settin Go to Bluetooth Settin (Fiure 1) Reactivate Bluetooth with the reen switch. (Fiure 1) If your printer becomes visible, you can o to Step 2. Fiure 3 If the device is not visible, you need to check the backside of the printer. (Fiure 2) If the LED liht is reen, it means that the printer is not connected. Hold the pair button for 6-10 seconds and it will chane to blue which means that the printer has reconnected. Fiure 4 Now o back to Bluetooth Settins and tap on your printer device. It will show that the printer is now reconnected. (Fiure 1) Step 2 Fiure 5 Open Shopbox and o to Settins Printer & Scanner (Fiure 3) Turn on Star Printers (Fiure 4) Select your printer from Hovedprinter (Fiure 5) Select 3 inches (Fiure 6) Fiure 6 Close the application and reopen it Fiure 7 It should work now. You can do a test print from your transaction list. (Fiure 7) 3

PRINTER (WIRELESS) If you are experiencin problems with the wireless printer, the most common issue is that the printer lost connection. First restart Shopbox that usually solves the issue.

If the problem still remains follow the next steps: (wait 15 seconds before turnin the printer back on) Check if you have internet connection Check if the cables are connected to the devices printer

4 PRINTER (WIRELESS) If you are experiencin problems with the wireless printer, the most common issue is that the printer lost connection. First restart Shopbox that usually solves the issue. If it does not solve the problem, restart the printer with the power button on the left side. If the problem still remains follow the next steps: (wait 15 seconds before turnin the printer back on) Check if you have internet connection Check if the cables are connected to the devices printer Check if your ipad is connected to the same network as the On the front of the printer should ive you a stable reen liht sinal (not blinkin). Turn off the device Hold the Feed button pressed and in the same time turn the printer back on The printer will print 2 pieces of paper (with a delay of a few seconds). Take the second one and on the bottom of the pae check the IP address. If the IP consist of 0s only, there is an internet connection problem. Replu the ethernet cable and check the connection aain. If the IP consists of various diits, it means that your printer is connected to the network and it s a software issue. Please contact support! 4

STAR SETTING UTILITY APP We hihly recommend you to install the Star Settin Utility application on your ipad the Shopbox is runnin on. You can find it in the App Store.

You can rename your device so if you use multiple printers, it is easier to identify the one you are lookin for.

5 STAR SETTING UTILITY APP We hihly recommend you to install the Star Settin Utility application on your ipad the Shopbox is runnin on. You can find it in the App Store. This application automatically confiures and connects you to the printer. You can rename your device so if you use multiple printers, it is easier to identify the one you are lookin for. It will make the connection more stable and you have access to settins of the printer. CASH REGISTER DOES NOT OPEN If your cash reister refuses to open, check the cable connection with the printer. If this does not solve the issue, you need to reconnect the printer. Follow the steps on the 4th or 5th pae of this document. 5

INTEGRATED CARD TERMINAL Most likely your card terminal stopped workin due to internet connection problem. To make sure what the issue is take a look at the icon in the middle of the top of screen.

If you believe that there is nothin wron with your connection, follow the steps of the reen liht case! If the icon is lihtin in reen color, it means that you have internet connection.

6 INTEGRATED CARD TERMINAL Most likely your card terminal stopped workin due to internet connection problem. To make sure what the issue is take a look at the icon in the middle of the top of screen. (Fiure 1) If the icon is lihtin in white color, it means that you do not have internet connection. Restart your router or try to et in touch with your internet provider. If you believe that there is nothin wron with your connection, follow the steps of the reen liht case! If the icon is lihtin in reen color, it means that you have internet connection. Follow the next steps to troubleshoot the issue: Fiure 1 Take out the power of the maic box and 15 seconds later take it back on (Maic box is the black device your terminal is connected to) (Fiure 2) Reconnect ethernet cable If the problem still occurs try to reconfiure the card terminal. You can find uidelines of that on the next pae. If any of these steps can not solve your problem please contact our customer support. Fiure 2 6

7 INTEGRATED CARD TERMINAL CONFIGURATION If the card terminal does not allow the payment to o throuh, it miht be because it lost the confiuration. Luckily it can be fixed quickly. Open Shopbox Settins Card terminal (Fiure 1) Make sure the terminal is enabled in the app settins (Fiure 2) Fiure 1 Make sure the port is: 1337 (Fiure 2) Make sure the IP is correct (Fiure 2) To do so, press the menu button on the card terminal. (Fiure 3) Type in the password that is always (Fiure 4) Fiure 2 Press the number 4 button to open Help. You can find the IP address on point 11. (Fiure 5) Copy the IP from the terminal to the Shopbox settins and follow these steps: (Fiure 2) (!!!) Between the dots, if the 3 diits start with 0 and are followed by numbers between 1-9, inore the first 0. If the number starts with double 0, (00) inore both. If it is 000, type in one 0. Fiure 3 Fiure 4 Example: If in the terminal it says 010, type in 10 only. If in the terminal it says 001, type in 1 only. If in the terminal it says 000, type in 0. So if in the card terminal you find the IP: Type into the Shopbox settins: Fiure 5 Press Save in the top riht corner Now press Connect 7
