4 How to Download and install the Harbortouch Sales Center for ipad Please make sure you are on a stable and strong wifi connection with many bars and also a fast wifi broadband internet connection. Please make sure you are also on the latset version of ios for your ipad as mentioned in the chapter: "Recommendations Before Using the Sales Center App" there is a section in there called Update to ios 6. The app will not work with ios 4 or below. The Sales Center App is about 400 megs and can take more than 30 minutes to download. On a weak wifi connection it may ask to retry the download a lot. If you run into any issues and need assistance please contact us at: ipadsupport@harbortouch.com Please also make sure you have passed Harbortouch University at harbortouchuniversity.com. If you have not or do not know what this is, Please contact your Harbortouch Sales Support Team or ipadsupport@harbortouch.com Once you have confirmed the above items, you can download the Harbortouch Sales Center for ipad by going to this URL on your ipad safari web browser: Interactiveiso.com/ipadsc You will then see the image below. 6 Troubleshooting Harbortouch Sales Center for ipad Installation If you tried everything mentioned in the section "How to Download and Install the Harbortouch Sales Center for ipad" Then please try the following. If you are having an issue during the installation process and meet all the items mentioned above. Try deleting the app and then restart the ipad by holding down the power button for abotu 5 to 10 seconds. You will then see a message slide to shut down ipad. 9 Restart the ipad 1.) Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for several seconds. (This is the button shown in the diagram above.) 2.) The ipad will prompt you to slide a button to power off the ipad. Follow the directions on the screen by sliding the button from the left side to the right to reboot the ipad. 3.) If the ipad is frozen or stuck, hold down both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button. This will force the ipad to power down. 4.) The ipad screen will display the circle of dashes which indicates it is busy. Once the ipad has finished shutting down completely, the screen will go completely black. 5.) Once the ipad's screen is completely black, hold down the Sleep/Wake button for several seconds. This will allow you to restart the ipad. 6.) When the Apple logo appears in the middle of the screen, you can release the Sleep/Wake button. The ipad will restart shortly after the logo appears. 10 Recommendations Before Using the Sales Center App Best Practices and Recommendations Fast and Stable Wifi Connection for Live Demo It is highly recommend that a fast and stable and strong wifi signal and connection is used when using the live demo feature of the Harbortouch Sales Center for ipad. This feature is available if you have gone though live in-person training for one for either Hospitality or Advance Retail or both. ipad Sales Center FAQ - 10

11 Speedtest and Screenshot to troubleshoot internet speeds There is an good speed test app on the app store from speedtest.net. it is an iphone app that can be used on the ipad. It looks like this. To take a screenshot of your speed, press the home button and the power button at the same time quickly. Then this image can be ed to ipadsupport@harbortouch.com directly from your ipad. 12 demo requires a Low Ping, Under 50 ms is ideal. And fast upload and download speeds, 3 to 5 Mbps for download and 1 to 2 Mbps for upload is ideal. Update to ios 6 on your ipad It is recommended that you update your ipad to ios6 if possible. 16 Does the ipad App require constant internet connection for it to function? Only the Live Demo Section on the Harbortouch Sales Center for ipad App requires internet connection. That section can be seen in the image below. To get access to the live demo section, You must have certification from our live demo training courses. These are live in session training classes we hold thoughout the year. To get information on these, please contact your Harbortouch Sales Support Team. For the rest of the app, the ipad sales center app does not require an internet connection after logging in. You do however need an internet connection to login to verify your username and password to get authorization to use the app. So it needs internet just to log into the app and it will remain logged in for 30 days or until you sign out. The rest of the app including the videos and brochures are all accessible without an internet connection after you have logged in. ipad Sales Center FAQ - 16

18 Should I get the 16, 32, 64 and Should I get the ipad2 or ipad1? 16, 32 or 64, any one of them would work. It is preferred that you get the ipad 2 or higher because it has the camera which we will make use of in the future. Also refurb ipads are about 100 bucks cheaper at: These models are refurbed by they are indistinguishable from brand new. The battery and casing is replaced so you will not see a single stratch on them. Even the box is brand new but the box says refurbished model on them. ipad Sales Center FAQ - 18

19 Sound does not work in the videos? Our ipad app respects your mute settings. Please make sure mute is off. Please follow the following steps to check to make sure your mute is off.
