View the status of devices on a system... 5 Maintenance notifications... 6 Managing customers... 6 Functions reserved for Professional Users... 7 Adding a new customer... 8 List of installed devices... 8 Managing support-requests CAMEConnect features two types of operator users: Private User With the specific app, private users, can securely link up to the systems or to the single devices associated to them. For example, from their smartphones or PCs, private users can remotely check their own devices, watch images taken from their system's CCTV video cameras, request assistance from their installers, and so on. You can reach the CAMEConnect website at the following URL: Professional Users CAME qualified installers, via an internet connection and the system-owner's permission, can run a full system-diagnosis, pinpoint any malfunctions and intervene quickly and efficiently. You can reach the CAMEConnect website at the following URL: net/. To use the services offered by CAMECOnnect, Private and Professional users and then their controlled devices must be registered on the portal. 3 Registering a Professional User The icon stands for services specifically for Professional Users and takes you to the registration window. Carefully choose your Username and Password. You will need these credentials each time you log onto the CAMEConnect portal for remote maintenance and configuration of your systems. p. 3 - Manual code: FA00403-EN v. 104/2016 CAME S.p.A. The data and information in this manual may be changed at any time and without notice. ❶ After filling in all the fields in the form, press button ❶ to terminate the procedure. A welcome message confirms the registration. Professional User registrations may require a validation process. That's why the account may take a little time to clear.
4 CAME CONNECT FOR PROFESSIONAL USERS Through CameConnect, Professional Users can: View their customers' systems. If customers have placed their systems (from now on "sites") on the map, then also the installers will be able to view the "sites" on their own map; in any case the "site" can be viewed in list format. View the status of each "site" (operating / malfunctioning). View the list of devices (operating / malfunctioning) of customers installed on a specific "site". Acquire Private User privileges, if the latter has granted permission. View your list of customers. Invite new customers to register on CameConnect. Managing the "Professional Users" profile Private User profile - Professional User Profile. The top right of the portal always displays the logged-in user's name; clicking on this area lets you access the profile configuration options or logout of the system. The window shows the registered profile data - which can be changed at any time by logged-in Users. The Came Connect portal pages will be displayed in the browser's language. A different language can be selected on the bottom right of the page. The browser memorized the last language used and uses it the next time it is accessed. ❸ ❹ ❷ ❶ ❶ Select the language associated to the profile. This language will be used to send any notices. ❷ When this field is filled in, the system geolocates the location and automatically fills in the rest of the blank fields. ❸When changing password, you will have to fill in these fields again. If the profile changes don't concern the password, these fields can be left blank. ❹ Installer specific information, automatically generated by the system and which cannot be edited. You must notify your identification code to your customers. 5 View the status of devices on a system This window is for immediately viewing all of the system managed by logged in professional users. The icons on the map and the elements in the list on the right of the window stand for your customers' own "sites". ❺ ❹ ❾ ❶ ❷ ❻ ❸ ❽ ❼ p. 5 - Manual code: FA00403-EN v. 104/2016 CAME S.p.A. Pressing the blue arrow immediately takes you to a window containing information on the site you selected. ❶ System's general state. ❷ Site access-rights situation granted by private user. ❸ Here you can add photos or pdfs, such as system blue prints or plant layout maps, and so on) which better describe the "site". ❹ The window contains a list of each single device installed on the "site" and, whether the user has granted access rights, and their status. ❺ The icon represents the CONNECT GW operators gateway. The device is working properly. The device is configured but is unreachable. The device is not configured properly. ❻ Number of devices connected to the gateway. ❼ Count of the maneuvers performed by the device. ❽ Devices connected to the gateway, the icon quickly identifies the type of device and its current status. Operator error. Operator state undetected. Operator either moving or stopped. Operator open. Closed operator, please reset and recalibrate. Only Installer Users can view the state of devices connected to the system, provided they have been granted rights by the Private User that owns the system. ❾ It lets you access the maintenance-job notification window.
6 Maintenance notifications Managing customers ❶ ❷ This section of the portal lets installers schedule notification ings regarding the functioning of each single installed device; the notifications are for scheduling maintenance of the devices, according to the number of maneuvers or the time elapsed from the last maintenance job. ❶ Already scheduled notifications. ❷ It lets you add a new notification. ❸ Monitored device. ❹ Threshold of maneuvers performed, beyond which a notification is generated. ❺ Scheduled notification date. ❻ Any notes attached to the notification. The notification is sent when one of the conditions mentioned at points ❹ and ❺ is met. ❸ ❹ ❺ ❻ The customers list lets you view the credentials of all registered customers. ❶ This lets you edit the customer profile (if the customer has granted access to his system after a request for support). ❷ This lets you view the memorized customer profile. ❸ This gives total access and control over the selected customer's system (if the customer has granted access to his system after a request for support). ❹ ❸ ❶ ❹ The homepage's side column expands and allows access to all system areas and settings for the selected customer. ❷ The installer, once authorized by the customer, has the same privileges of a Private User (see the CAMEConnect User manual for Private Users). p. 6 - Manual code: FA00403-EN v. 104/2016 CAME S.p.A. 7 Functions reserved for Professional Users Authorized Professional Users, when accessing the list of site devices, may select one of the devices and access all configuration and control options which are reserved for Private Users. Professional Users, unlike Private Users, are authorized to edit certain parameters concerning the operator's functioning. This procedure must be done by qualified staff while referring to the instructions of the device he is configuring The wrong configuration of certain parameters may cause the operator and the devices connected to it to malfunction. p. 7 - Manual code: FA00403-EN v. 104/2016 CAME S.p.A. The data and information in this manual may be changed at any time and without notice. ❺ ❻ There are certain additional controls available to Professional Users with respect to Private Users. ❺. ❻ This button lets you access the device's configuration options.
8 Adding a new customer List of installed devices Fill in the form entirely and save the customers to your own list. The customer gets invited by to join CAMEConnect. If the customer confirms the invitation and registers, he is automatically associated to the installer that invited him; users may, in any case, change their local installer at any time. This function is designed for Professional Users that are fully delegated by Private Users to install and configure the system. The Private User needs only register to CAMEConnect once he gets invited, and then grant his local installer access to do what is required on the customer's behalf. In this sections, installers can view the list of devices installed at their customers' premises. 9 Managing support-requests ❶ ❷ ❸ In this section, installers can view the list of support requests. Besides the request date, they can read any indications provided and the name of the Private User that generated the request. p. 9 - Manual code: FA00403-EN v. 104/2016 CAME S.p.A. The data and information in this manual may be changed at any time and without notice. ❶ State of the support request an possible closing date. ❷ The column shows the "active until" date for unlimited access to the system, granted by the Private User. ❸ Access to the management details and possible closing of the request. ❹ ❺ ❻ ❼ ❹ Use this space to enter any notes when replying to the support request. These will be also viewable by Private Users. ❺ Professional User's private notes. ❻ Immediate access to the devices of the User who requested the support job. ❼ Button for closing / reopening a support request. Only Professional Users can close support requests.
