Deferring Remittance Mailshots Exo Business In previous releases, after generating a creditor payment batch using the Creditors Payment Processor, if you were using the mailshot function to send remittance advice, it would launch after the batch was created, and could not be re-opened at a later time. This meant that remittance advice could only be sent immediately after generating a payment batch a workflow restriction that made the mailshot an unsuitable option in some cases. Note: To send remittance advice using the mailshot, the Use Mailshot for printing and ing remittance when paying by D/C option on the Payment Processor General Setup window must be ticked. This release adds the ability to recall creditor payment batches and send or re-send remittances via mailshot, which allows the sending of remittances to be deferred until some time after the batch is processed. A new Print/ Mail Shots button is available on the Creditors Payment Processor window: Clicking this button opens a new window where you can search for previously processed payment batches: Select a batch to open the Mailshot window showing all remittances from the batch, allowing you to send or re-send them as necessary.

Client Upgrade Installer Exo Business This release adds a new installer executable, ExoClientInstall.exe, which is designed specifically for upgrading existing client installations of Exo Business quickly and easily. The installer detects the current previous configuration and replaces all existing Exo Business files, including executables and ExonetLib.dll, with new versions. It does not affect any server components, e.g. the Exo Business database. The default installation takes only two clicks if you tick the Install additional applications option, an extra screen lets you add new Exo Business components that t currently installed. The installer handles exceptions, such as checking that the client is not running Exo Business when they are installing. Performance Improvements This release includes improvements to the performance of the Exo Business system when invoicing. Performance has been significantly improved when processing Debtor invoices, when processing Job Costing invoices and when allocating stock to billing schedule invoices.

Exo Fixed Assets Updates Exo Business This release includes updates to the Exo Fixed Assets module, building on the enhancements made to this module in the release. Asset Activities This release adds the ability to associate activities (tasks and appointments) with assets. An Activities tab has been added to the main Fixed Assets window, where you can add and edit activities for the asset: An Asset field has been added to the Activities window, so you can associate new or existing activities with an asset:

Multiple GL Account Groups Exo Business It is now possible to select multiple GL Account Groups to use with Exo Fixed Assets. The dropdowns on the Admin > Exo Fixed Assets > Asset Defaults screen in Exo Config now allow multi-select: When specifying a GL Account for an asset, accounts from all groups chosen here will be available for selection. Interface Updates Saving Form Positions You can now save the position of the main forms of all Exo Business modules (with the exception of Exo POS, which always opens fullscreen). The right-click menu on the title bar of each module now includes a standard Form Position submenu that lets you The system also now saves the layout of the Menu Favourites pane if the pane is pinned open, it will remain open the next time the module is opened, and the width it is set to will be preserved.

Inserting Multiple Lines in Purchase Orders Exo Business It is now possible to insert multiple lines into a Purchase Order at once. When selecting stock items on the Stock Search window, you can select multiple items and click Save & Close to insert all selected items into the order at once. This also applies when selecting styles from the Style Picker window all styles you select will be inserted into the order in one operation. Multiple items can be inserted at any position in the order press the Insert key to add a single blank line at the position you want, then search for items from that line, e.g. enter? and press Tab to search for stock items or enter / and press Tab to select styles: When the items are added, any existing items below that position will be moved down to make room for them:

This simplifies the process of adding new Creditor accounts by removing the need to check the Details 2 tab for this setting (in previous versions, if a Creditor account remained on the incorrect invoice mode, this could cause problems when entering invoices for the account if the user forgot to change the invoice mode). Creditor Payment Processor Warning Messages Error messages that are generated when a batch of Creditor Payments is processed now identify the account that caused the error, making it easier to identify and correct the error: Stock Item Lead Times Lead times from the relevant Creditor accounts are now recorded against stock items in the SUPPLIER_STOCK_ITEMS table. This means that lead times for alternate suppliers can now be displayed on the Alternate Suppliers / Stock Codes window (see page 5). It also means that the Due Date for each line on a Purchase Order is now calculated based on the lead time for the stock item on that line. New Remittance Address Function When remittance advice is sent to a Creditor, the address to use is now determined by the new GetCRRemittance database function, which means that determines the address to use in the following order of preference: Remittance Contact address on the Creditor account address of the primary contact on the Creditor's account address on the Creditor account

Copying Extra Fields Exo Business This release adds the ability to control whether or not Extra Field values are copied when copying Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Debtor Invoices and Jobs (previously, this was only possible when copying Assets, Opportunities or Opportunity Quotes). 13 Resolved Issues Exo Business Core Service Request ID Description When generating a Creditors Invoice for a Creditor with a default GL code, clicking or tabbing away from the Price column on the first invoice line would cause the quantity to be reset to 0. This has been resolved When generating a Creditors Invoice for a Creditor with a default GL code, clicking anywhere on the grid would add a line with a quantity of 1. This has been resolved In some cases, when the C (Confirmed) column on the Purchase Orders window was ticked, its state would be set back to unticked when the order was saved. This has been resolved If a bank feed rule was saved without specifying Rule Conditions, then the rule would be applied to all data in the bank feed. This has been resolved; if no Rule Conditions are specified for a bank feed rule, it cannot be set as Active. If an active rule exists with no conditions, it will not be applied to the bank feed data. - Date-type Extra Fields could not be given non-constant default values, e.g. by using SQL functions like GETDATE(). If an Extra Field was set up in this way, errors would occur when attempting to add a new record that used the Extra Field. This has been resolved; the system now supports SQL Server keywords or functions in Date-type Extra Fields. - When a Creditors Invoice was created from an Inwards Goods Receipt, all columns would be copied to the invoice, including discount, but the line total would be calculated without the discount. This has been resolved. - When a line was added to a Purchase Order, Exo Business would determine the best price/discount combination for the supplier based on the default quantity of 1, and would not update this if the quantity was edited. This has been resolved; prices are now re-checked when the values of the Qty or Qty Ord columns are changed. - The Components tab of the Bill of Materials window right-aligned numerical stock codes and left-aligned alphanumerical code. This has been resolved; all stock codes are now left-aligned on this grid. - If a user clicked on a row on the Purchase Orders window, then rightclicked to add a narrative to the row, the New Narrative window opened twice. This has been resolved. - Pressing the F1 key opened the Help files twice. This has been resolved. Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 13 of 46

Exo Business Exo Job Costing Service Request ID Description When a new line was added to the Direct Material Entry window using the New line copies from line above button, some fields on the new line could not be edited (these fields would become editable if the user re-typed the job code). This has been resolved. - The New line copies from line above button on the Direct Material Entry window did not display when it was toggled on. This has been resolved. Clarity Reports Service Request ID Description - Report thumbnails are now disabled on the Print Preview window. (Thumbnails can appear on the Preview tab of the Clarity Report Designer, depending on the User Interface > ThumbnailSettings settings.) - The Parameters panel would appear for.clf files if a.cls file with the same base name existed. 33 Exo Business Each section of the Menu Favourites pane can be collapsed and expanded by clicking -size each section and reorder the sections by clickin Searching for Menu Items The Menu Favourites pane also includes a Search box you can enter search terms into this box to search all menu options that are available to the user, i.e. the search only returns menu items that have been added to the dropdown menu for the logged in user. Cloud Service Status Icon A new icon at the bottom of the major Exo Business modules displays the status of the Exo Business cloud services (such as Bank Feeds, geolocation features and ABN lookups): The icon indicates one of the following statuses: - Cloud services are available - Cloud services are not currently available - Cloud features have been disabled You can click on the icon to check the status again. The system polls the status on first login, when a new user logs in or when the user chooses to refresh database settings. Note: This icon replaces the Check Online Connectivity button on the About window, which has now been removed. Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 33 of 46

Exo Business Stop Credit Options when Receipting Payments This release updates several interfaces. in red, and includes a checkbox to take the Debtor on or off Stop Credit: includes a right-click menu option to take the Debtor on or off Stop Credit: and These features already existed on the Payment/Receipt Entry and Payment/Receipt Batch Entry windows. For all windows, the option to turn Stop Credit on or off for a Debtor account is now governed by the Debtors account access level profile setting; t be able to use the Stop Credit option. Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 34 of 46

Company Type on Contacts Exo Business The Account Type column on the Accounts tab of the Contacts window now displays - for the type (1 = Debtor, 2 = Creditor, 3 = Non-Account). Opportunity Seqno A new Seq No. column is available on the Opportunities tab of the Debtor Account Details, Creditor Account Details and Contacts windows. This column displays each Note: The new column can be turned on or off by right clicking on the column headers and clicking Select visible columns. Creditors Payment Processor Default The payment method on the Creditors Payment Processor now defaults to Direct credit instead of Cheque. Saving Exchange Rates When editing currency exchange rates in Exo Business Config, if the user makes changes and clicks the Re-evaluate button without saving, the changes are now saved automatically before the re-evaluation is performed. Sentence Case on Extra Fields In previous versions, the display names of Extra Fields were automatically changed to sentence case at runtime, i.e. in Exo Business Config, the name appeared as it was entered, but when the field appeared on a window, its name would be rendered in sentence case. However, sentence case is not suitable for names, display names appear on interfaces as they are entered in Exo Business Config. When an Extra Field is saved, a message is displayed asking the user if they want to convert the name to sentence case, but this is optional: Note: In an upgrade to Exo Business , all existing Extra Field display names are converted to sentence case in the Exo Business database. This ensures that existing Extra Fields will continue to appear as they did in previous versions; they can be edited and re-saved if you want to change them from sentence case now. 36 New Company Colour Settings Exo Business In previous releases, the colour of the status bar at the bottom of all windows could be changed by editing the Company user interface colour profile setting; this made it easier to differentiate between Exo Business companies in a multiple company scenario. This release introduces a new way of setting the company colour. A colour picker button ( ) is now available next to the Company name field on the Company Details screen in Exo Business Config. Click the button to open a colour picker window that lets you select any colour you want for the company colour: This makes it easier to pick a colour, and offers a much wider range of colours than the pre-set list that was available from the Company user interface colour profile setting. In an upgrade to Exo Business , the colour that had been selected for the Company user interface colour setting is preserved as the default for this control. The selected colour is displayed as the background of the Company name field. Geolocation Service Change Exo Business now uses Google Maps for geolocation functions. The geolocation service functions as it did in previous versions the only noticeable difference should be the appearance of the thumbnail image on the Confirm Location window. (While this update occurred around the time of the 2017.x release, it affects all versions that use geolocation features.) Note: By using geolocation features, you consent to send information to MYOB and for us to relay part of this information to Google Mapping Services in accordance with their privacy statement (see in order to retrieve mapping coordinates and confirmation of the existence of a physical address. Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 36 of 46

Exo Job Costing Date Controls Exo Business Exo Job Costing now supports the Prompt for date on login profile setting, which allows you to pre-set the system date when you log in: The date you select will be the default for all new Job Costing transactions. (If the setting is disabled, the Windows system date is used.) If Work in Progress and Stock on Hand are not being tracked live in the General Ledger, but are only posted as closing values at the end of each accounting period, then financial period and date integrity may be less of a priority than freeform entry of transaction dates disabling the Enforce stock period locks in Job Costing Companylevel setting lessens the date constraints for the Job Costing module. When the Enforce stock period locks in Job Costing profile setting is enabled, a new dialog has been added to handle transactions that could run contrary to existing period controls: Note: Pressing CTRL+C copies the body text to the clipboard, so that users can paste it into a message if they need assistance with this dialog. This dialog appears when cancelling, writing off, moving or changing the quantity of a transaction line in a locked period. The default date is taken from the Windows system date or the pre-set system date (if Prompt for date on login is enabled). Any dates that fall inside a locked period will be greyed out. Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 37 of 46

Controlling Access to Job Line Write Offs Exo Business A new profile setting is available to control access to the write off function for job lines. The user-level setting Allow job transaction line write offs is ticked by default, preserving the behaviour from previous versions. You can untick the setting to deny access to write offs the Write-off line option will be removed from right-click menus in Exo Job Costing. Update to SQL Widgets A parameter is available for Grid and Pivot dashboard widgets. When entered into the SQL statement that defines the widget, the parameter is replaced by the current GL account at runtime. When the SQL tab has been enabled for Grid and Pivot widgets (by enabling the Edit Pivot Widget SQL at runtime profile setting), the new parameter is available from the Parameter list dropdown: Enhanced Invoice Search The Invoice Search function for Creditors has been enhanced to match the functionality that exists for Debtor invoice searches. Enhancements include the ability 41). Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 38 of 46

Documents on General Ledger Accounts Exo Business The General Ledger Account Details window now has a Documents tab: This tab behaves in the same way as the Documents tabs that are available on other records. You can add and remove documents using the standard document toolbar buttons, and you can attach a document by dragging and dropping it onto the Documents tab. Transaction Type on Cashbook Transactions Transactions entered using the Integrated Cashbook are now assigned a transaction type in the GLTRANS table for Cashbook-created transactions, the TRANSTYPE field is now populated as follows: Transaction type TRANSTYPE value Debtor Creditor General Ledger Expense Income BD BC BG BX BI Update to ABN Verification Exo Business includes the ability to verify ABN numbers entered for Debtor and Creditor accounts using an online service. The service verifies that ABNs are valid, and that they match the company name registered for them. This release adds the ability to exclude certain Debtor and Creditor accounts from the differs from the name registered against their ABN. A new Ignore ABN Check flag is available on the Details 1 tabs of the Debtor Account Details and Creditor Account Details windows. When this flag is ticked for an account, its ABN number will not be checked against the company name. Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 39 of 46

Exo Business Note: setting ticking the flag only stops the system from checking that the ABN matches the company name. Financial Year Validation in Exo Fixed Assets The Exo Fixed Assets module now validates postings against the financial year users are prevented from posting in a new financial year until a Year End Rollover has been performed in Fixed Assets. In order to keep Fixed Assets synchronised with the Exo Business core module, the system needs to be told which financial year Fixed Assets is currently in the first time that Fixed Assets is run following an upgrade to , a window appears asking the user to specify the financial year: Once this has been established, the system keeps track of which financial year Fixed Assets is in compared to the Exo Business core. When an End of Year procedure is run in Exo Business, moving the system into a new financial year, Fixed Assets cannot post Fixed Assets into the same year as the core. Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 40 of 46

Resolved Issues Exo Business Core Service Request ID Description This release adds a new control for setting the colour of the status bar in all Exo Business modules see page 36. This release resolves issues when searching for Debtor or Creditor invoices, as part of the enhancements to the Invoice Search function see page 38. This release resolves the following issues with recurring GL batches: Recurring batches with a null transaction date caused errors. When recurring GL batches were loaded, the current date was replaced with the date when the batch was first created. In both cases, the system now uses the system date (or the pre-set date, if the Prompt for date on login profile setting is enabled). On a Creditors Invoice, if an amount was entered into the Gross Total column, system rounding meant that the amount entered could be altered once the other values in the line were calculated. This has been resolved. Text entered into the Reference field in the Integrated Cashbook did not flow through to the General Ledger. This has been resolved. This release includes improvements to system performance when large nu calendar view. When a kit that is priced by total was added to a Sales Order and the price of all the component lines was zero, the total price for the kit was added to the first line, but as a negative value. This has been resolved. Unpresented transactions did not appear for previous bank reconciliations on the left-hand side of the Bank Reconciliation window. It was not possible to delete an unused General Ledger subaccount if the parent account was used on one or more stock items. This has been resolved. Exo Business 2017.x Version History Page 41 of 46
