3 / SPECIAL NOTICE: Some third party browser ad ons contain malware that inserts JavaScript (JS) Code into your browsers web pages. This malware (eg: Yontoo and VideoFileDownload) is often installed along with browser ad ons such as Browser Toolbars and Browser Accelerators that are generally considered safe, but are designed to track your browsing habits and insert ads. Unfortunately, the JS code the malware inserts causes reset errors in. CoreLogic recommends you disable or uninstall any recently installed Internet Explorer browser ad ons that may be attempting to insert ads into your browser. Other System Requirements users may optionally install an ActiveX control which will automatically adjust browser margins when printing. The ActiveX control is required for printing some Statistical Reports. User must have Administrative permission on the PC to install ActiveX controls. Some common issues are:. User has older unsupported version of Windows such as Windows XP SP2. Must have Windows XP SP3 or higher 2. ActiveX Print Control will not install on 64 Bit machines running Internet Explorer (64 Bit). Solution is to use Internet Explorer 32 Bit version which comes pre installed on PC s. 3. User must have Administrator Permission on their PC to install ActiveX controls. 4. Vista and Windows 7 users may need to launch Internet Explorer as administrator. To do this, rightclick on Internet Explorer icon and select Run as administrator, then login to /Tempo5 and try to reinstall the ActiveX control. 5. The ActiveX install process includes Microsoft Visual C SP Redistributable Package (x86). Occasionally this component will not install and therefore prevent the ActiveX control from installing. Two solutions are available to resolve this 3 rd issue; Solution : Temporarily disable the Enable Memory Protect option in IE. To do this in IE: Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and deselect Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks to disable that feature. Restart IE, and login to or Tempo5 and attempt to reinstall the ActiveX control. After a successful, users can re enable the Memory Protection option. Solution 2: Manually install the Microsoft Visual C SP Redistributable Package (x86) < and download MSXML6.msi from Microsoft MSXML 6 Restart IE, and login to or Tempo5 and attempt to reinstall the ActiveX control. D Add/Edit Spellcheck ignores UPPERCASE letters when Caps Lock is on. n/a Add/Edit The F9 key shortcut to move to the next required field or submit the form is not supported on a Mac. Drop down allows users to change from searching against contacts (personal contact) to a general member search; while the search itself works, and it appears the address is added, when users attempt to save the change the process will either error out or a random address is inserted. Driving Directions Adding a start or end location in Driving Directions for Canada returns 'This location could not be found'. If the ed report is ed from and viewed by an agent while logged into, the sensitive data fields will remain hidden because the report URL domain does not match the URL domain. In order for the sensitive data fields to be visible the user would have to be logged into. Google Chrome has a new feature that allows users to redirect mailto: hyperlinks to Gmail. When a user clicks an hyperlink in listing details, Gmail opens in the same browser window as. The problem occurs when clicking the Back button and the user is on the Home page instead of the listing detail page. This Gmail feature can be disabled follow instructions at this link: n/a When editing Templates a popup message may appear when trying to Copy/Paste: " Do you want to allow this webpage to access your clipboard. This prompt can be disabled by configuring settings in IE using these steps;. Go to Tools >Internet Options, then click the Security tab 2. Click on the Custom Level button and scroll down to Scripting section 3. Select the option is "Allow programmatic clipboard access." 4. Save settings, then restart browser. The ad ons are considered malware and should be disabled or uninstalled to resolves this issue. As a solution, CoreLogic is creating blacklist of known malware ad ons and the application will warn user of the issue and possible resolution. Message of the Day text in some cases exceed the width of the message window causing the text and scroll bar to appear outside the MOTD window. Explanation Firefox has a process called Plugin container.exe which loads plugins like Flash, Silverlight, and QuickTime. Solution to resolve issue on user s computer:. Open Firefox 2. In the address bar, enter: about:config 3. If prompted, click the button: I'll be careful, I promise! 4. In the Search field at the top of the page, type: dom.ipc.plugins.enabled 5. Double click on this item this will change its setting from true to false. 6. Close Firefox and restart it. You should now be able to print in without encountering the prior issue. D Printing Unable to print Quick CMA in when using the Firefox web browser due to issue with Firefox s PDF handling. Solution to resolve issue on user s computer: Change the default PDF handling behavior in Firefox. Open up the Firefox Tools > Options dialog (Orange Firefox tab>options>options 2. Open the Applications tab 3. Wherever the Content Type contains Adobe Acrobat, click on the corresponding Action. It will become a pull down. Select Adobe Reader from the list. 4. Click OK at the bottom of the Options dialog Restart Firefox D Printing When printing the result grid in the client manager, the address is truncated D 2695 D D 9995 D D D 7975 B D D Printing Printing to a network printer may not print when using Chrome. Google acknowledges this is a known issue and is not limited to CoreLogic products. No known resolution other than using a different browser. Printing Printing grids from Contacts, the first column of the grid does not print its data. If you go back into the grid editor and Change Field Format and then add a prefix to any field in the grid, that grid will print correctly from that point forward even if the prefix is subsequently removed. Printing Using on Firefox 9 on Windows 7 printing multiple copies is not working. Only page will print regardless of how many pages are entered/set within the print dialog. Known bug with FireFox. Prospecting At the end of setting up a new notification (using reports, not contact website) the user has the option to send out all, some, or none of the current search results. If the user chooses "all", the properties are not displayed in the same order that they are listed in the grid. Prospecting Intermittent issue: When users attempt to modify active auto notifications the Report list is not always loading (contact and agent notification tabs). This causes an error when attempting to save the change. If the site is listed in Trusted Sites, then Enable Protected Mode also needs to be checked for Trusted Sites. Issue does not occur when using IE8 or IE9 or. Results When filter a set of checked listings and view the details tab, unchecking one of the listings displays a new icon on the screen (refresh icon); however, when clicking on the icon, nothing appears to occur.
