Two new products are added to AS/400 V4R5 Keyed Stamped Media: Advanced DBCS Printer Support and DB2 DataPropagator Version 7.1. In addition, four other programs are added to V4R5: WebSphere Standard Edition 56-bit (5733-AS2) WebSphere Standard Edition 128-bit (5733-AS3) Dictionaries and Linguistic Tools (5769-DL1) VisualAge Generator Server (5769-VG1) Also included is the ordering information for Portable Application Solutions Environment (PASE) Upgrades and Model 250 Upgrades. 2 Description Keyed Stamped Media Software delivery via AS/400 Keyed Stamped Media continues with V4R5. Two additional products and one associated feature are added to the set of CD-ROMs, resulting in 14 of the most popular AS/400 products and 15 associated optionally ordered features delivered on the V4R5 Keyed Stamped Media. (System/servers ordering double-byte languages will receive 15 products and 16 features.) You will receive a software license key for each of the products/features you order. You may evaluate any of the non-ordered products/features on the Keyed Stamped Media. At the end of the 70-day evaluation period, the product/feature will be disabled if you have not contacted your IBM representative or Business Partner to order the product/feature and receive a software license key. The software license key is an 18-digit authorization code that allows the software product/feature on the Keyed Stamped Media to be used on a specified AS/400 system. A new software license key is needed to authorize the software to work if it is: Moved to a different AS/400 system For processor-based programs upgrading to a higher processor group on the current system or Upgraded to a new version/release/modification level With V4R5, Content Manager OnDemand/400 Server Trial (option 9) is added to the Keyed Stamped Media to enable you to evaluate the function of OnDemand/400. This feature is for evaluation use only and keys are not supplied. The Server Trial can be used for 70 days. After 70 days, you need to order the base OnDemand/400 (5769-RD1) and the Server (option 5). You will need to install the server feature (option 5), which does not require a key to function. Any of the software products you order, except the ones on the keyed stamped media CD-ROMs, will be shipped on a separate CD-ROM. Contents of V4R5 Keyed Stamped Media The following V4R5 products use software license key support at V4R5. These products/features are shipped to all customers ordering V4R5 OS/400 and may be evaluated without ordering/purchasing for up to 70 days. These products may be ordered anytime during the 70-day evaluation period. After the 70 days, a software license key is required to continue use. Each of the following products/features requires a unique software license key that is received when the product is ordered/purchased. Software License Key Sheets will not be shipped when the V4R5 upgrade is ordered from V4R4. 4 New programs/features added for V4R5. 5 Server Trial feature allows Content Manager OnDemand and the Server feature to be evaluated before purchasing. This option is unique as it does not have a key. If the OnDemand Server feature is wanted, it requires the Server feature (option 5) to be ordered and installed. The above products require a software license key comprised of the following characteristics: Product identification (for example, 5769-QU1) Version, release, modification (VRM) level (for example, V4R5M0) Install code ID used for product installation (not ordering feature number). This differentiates a base program (5050) from a feature (#5101). Hardware serial number (for example, ) Processor group (for example, P50) 18-character key

3 Anytime the VRM, processor group, or hardware serial number changes, a new software license key is required. IPLA Terms and Conditions With the change to International Program License Agreement (IPLA) terms, you gain the option of transferring products inside or outside your enterprise, worldwide. Customers within an enterprise can transfer users of a user-based IPLA program among multiple enterprise machines. Transfers of users outside of an enterprise must be in the quantities represented by a single Proof of Entitlement (PoE) or invoiced amount if a PoE was not sent by IBM. Each IPLA product includes a PoE and a License Information Document (LID). The IPLA ships with OS/400. Products that require a software license key also include a Software License Key Sheet. The IPLA provides the general license agreement terms and conditions. The LID provides the specific additional terms and conditions that apply to the product itself. The PoE defines specific product user restrictions and a physical, transferable customer entitlement. The Software License Key Sheet provides an 18-digit use key for ordered software. The software usage restrictions are also printed on the Software License Key Sheet. In the event the original customer transfers or sells the software license, the IPLA, LID, Software License Key Sheet, and PoE must accompany the transferred product to the new owner/machine. If the PoE is not available, the purchase invoice may be substituted for the PoE. IBM licenses the other party when that party accepts the program s license terms by initial use of the program. The original customer license is then terminated. The PoE and the Software License Key Sheet (if applicable) are required for any order for product version/release upgrades. For IPLA products, PoE is represented by the product PoE, with its associated usage entitlements. Transfer support for keyed products requires the Software License Key Sheet be transferred with the product. Note: The base OS/400 program (5769-SS1) must stay with the AS/400 it was purchased with it cannot transfer to a different AS/400 system. IBM Software Subscription Entitlement to Future Updates: Version 4 customers must have a current IBM Software Subscription contract to be eligible to receive software updates. Version 4 customers with a current software subscription contract can receive, at no additional charge, release and version updates that occur during the subscription period to their licensed programs included in the Software Subscription Eligible Products List. Version 4 customers without software subscription are not entitled to receive updates. Customers who have Version 2 or 3 program licenses must pay a version upgrade charge when upgrading the license to a Version 4 program. Although most customers will find it most convenient to order software subscription when ordering their Version 4 software, they have 30 days from the time they acquire Version 4 software to enroll in Software Subscription. Customers who choose to delay ordering Software Subscription past 30 days will pay a Currency Access Fee in addition to the Software Subscription charge when they request an update to their licensed Version 4 products. Security, Auditability, and Control The announced programs use the security and auditability features of the OS/400 operating system. The customer is responsible for evaluation, selection, and implementation of security features, administrative procedures, and appropriate controls in application systems and communication facilities. Ordering Information Orders Generating Software License Keys: Software orders generated in the following situations will generate a software license key when ordered against the correct AS/400 CPU serial number: New system software preloaded New system software not preloaded Additional software licenses Version/release upgrades, unless the program unchanged from the previous release For processor-based programs, processor group-to-group upgrades Note: Customers who place orders near the end of the 70-day evaluation period may request a 20-day temporary key to allow time for the regular key to arrive. New Software Orders Preloaded orders will have the software and the software license keys preloaded for the ordered software. Keyed Stamped Media and the individual software Proof of Entitlement (PoE), IBM International Program License Agreement (IPLA), LID, and Software License Key Sheet are shipped from the program library. Customers ordering software not preloaded will receive the Keyed Stamped Media on CD-ROMs and individual CD-ROMs containing any additional software ordered not on the Keyed Stamped Media set. The IPLA, LID, PoE, and Software License Key Sheet will be included with the software order. The install instructions for the software product and software license keys are included. If a key cannot be shipped with the software order, an incomplete Software License Key Sheet will be sent explaining where you can call for the software license key. Important Note: You will need to retain the IPLA, LID, PoE, and Software License Key Sheet as these items need to be included with the software products if ownership is transferred. LPAR Systems and Guidance for Software Keys for Upgrades Customers running logical partitioning (LPAR) may have more than one VRM of a software product on the same AS/400 system. Multiple OS/400 versions (V4R4 and V4R5) within a partitioned environment are only supported on 6xx, SB1, and 7xx servers. Version upgrades are acquired for customers running LPAR via software subscription just as they are for customers without LPAR. For customers performing a processor group upgrade and a release upgrade at the same time, in order for the necessary keys to be sent automatically, the processor group upgrade must be performed for the V4R4 products followed by the release upgrade to V4R5. For customers who do a processor upgrade following the V4R5 release upgrade, they will need to contact the key center to request the necessary V4R4 keys at the higher processor group level. If a processor group upgrade is performed, all processor-based products will be priced according to the Software Machine Group of the underlying AS/400 hardware model

7 V4R5 Upgrade Orders from V4R1, V4R2, V4R3, or V4R4 A software subscription and PoE (or purchase invoice may be substituted) are necessary to obtain the upgrade order. You will receive the Keyed Stamped Media on CD-ROMs and individual CD-ROMs containing any additional software ordered. The software license keys and Software License Key Sheet will be shipped with the software order. The install instructions for the software product and software license keys are included. If you are upgrading from V4R4 and you have the following programs, you will not receive new Software License Key Sheets for V4R5 because these remain at V4R4 level. The programs are 5769-AF1, 5769-BR1, 5769-CB1, 5769-CM1, 5769-CX2, 5769-JS1, 5769-PW1, and 5769-RG1. The V4R4 keys for these programs will support them on a system with V4R5 version of OS/400. Ordering Upgrades: Version 4 customers with software subscription can use Software Inventory Utility (SIU) to order an upgrade to V4R5: Customer runs SIU to determine what software is on a machine. ordered SIU runs on any Version 4 system and can be downloaded from the Internet: Go to: By accepting the licensing agreement, download the AS/400 library in SWINVT.savf file -- Clicking on the word instructions opens the SIU instruction file (its in PDF format). -- Print the instructions file and follow the instructions in the file. SIU provides a printed report showing what software is currently installed. SIU categorizes all the installed software to indicate how the software can be updated. The report then can be faxed or ed to the configurator entry point. The IBM representative or Business Partner then verifies entitlement and places an order on the configurator for V4R5. Preloaded V4R4 and V4R5 Systems Backup media will ship from the program library for the preloaded systems on V4R4 and V4R5. The shipment from the program library will include the program CD-ROMs, and applicable IPLA license documentation. The software license keys will ship from the hardware manufacturing location. Transfer of Hardware and Software Transfers of hardware and software together does not require new software license keys. Software Transfers to Different CPU Serial Transferred-to user must receive PoE, LID, IPLA, and Software License Key Sheet (if applicable) from the transferred-from user. Transferred-to user runs Software Inventory Tool (QSFWINV) on the transferred-to AS/400 system. For processor-based programs, if the transferred-to AS/400 system processor is in a higher processor group than the transferred-from system, the transferred-to user must contact the appropriate IBM representative or Business Partner to process a software processor group upgrade order. If the transferred-to AS/400 system processor is in the same or lower processor group than transferred-from system, the transferred-to user contacts the country key center to obtain a new software license key. The country key center requests a fax of the transferred from Software License Key Sheet. Verification of Software License Key Sheet and PoE is performed by the Key Center. Upon verification, the new software license key is created and sent to customer as requested ( , fax). Lost Software License Keys If you lose a key or require a replacement of your software license key, call your country key center to obtain your software license key. Emergency Software License Key Invalid, missing, or incorrect software license key received for your secured product Contact the country key center. You may receive a temporary key (will activate software for up to 20 days) by phone/fax/ /web delivery. A request for a permanent software license key will be handled during normal business hours by contacting your IBM representative or Business Partner to obtain the permanent key.
