Quick Presentation Here is the general interface of E.online: Drop-down menu Action bar The main elements are: - A drop-down menu allowing you to navigate within the application and go to any page with a single click. - An action bar containing all the actions possible on the page, with access on a "Select and click" basis. 8

Installation of the Software This paragraph gives details on how to install E.online on a dedicated machine Prerequisite - Before doing anything else, make sure that you are connected to Windows with an account with administrator rights for the machine. - The latest Microsoft updates must be installed on the PC. - The latest version of Flash Player must be installed. - The WEB browser(s) used must also be up to date. - The ports 8080, 8005 (http), (TCP/UDP), (TCP/UDP) and 3306 (MySQL) must be free. (See EonlineII installation prerequisites) - No other MySQL server or IIS-type Web server installed on the machine). Method - With Windows 7, Windows 2008 Server R2, Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 Right-click on "setup" and then "Execute as administrator". Accept the conditions of the user licence. 32-bit version: Choose an installation directory (by default "C:\Program Files\Eonline II"). 64-bit version: Choose an installation directory (by default "C:\Program Files x86\eonline II"). Confirm. Click on "End" to confirm and exit from the E.online installation program. 9

10 V. Activation of the Software This paragraph describes how to activate E.online once it has been installed - E.online must have been installed correctly. Method Once installation has been completed, log on to E.online with the Web browser of your choice by going to the following address: (on the PC in local mode only) The default LOGIN / Password pairing is "administrateur / administrateur". Once you are logged on, enter the E.online licence key supplied with the CD. E.online then generates a product key which you have to communicate to the Support Service in order to receive an activation key. Method For Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012: Right-click and execute the "stopall.bat" script as administrator (\Eonline II \ stopall.bat ) to stop all E.onlineII services. For Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012: Right-click and execute the "startall.bat" script (\Eonline II \ startall.bat ) as administrator to start all E.onlineII services (wait for the services to launch before using E.online). 13

16 X. Creating E.online User Accounts This paragraph describes how to create E.online user accounts - E.online must have been installed correctly. Method Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. Click on the icon and then select Accounts. Click on "Add". Complete all the fields in the page : o "General page" is the max. Number of lines displayed on screen in the lists, before pagination (default value: 50). o "Analysis page" is the max. Number of lines displayed on screen in a data analysis table before pagination (default value: 50). o "Role" is the role played by the account: "Restricted user", "Shared user" or "Administrator" refer to the "Description of the E.online menu" paragraph to choose the suitable profile (ENERDIS recommends only having an Administrator account). o "Position" is the position held by the account added: User or Administrator (ENERDIS advises you to create only one Administrator account). o "Inherit authorizations from": the account added will be authorized to view the Devices of the reference account (the Administrator account sees all the Devices). Click on "Confirm" to record the parameter setting and then jump to the list of users You can "Add", "Delete" and "Modify" user accounts or "Log in as a client" on a user account. 16

17 XI. Configuring and Using the Dashboard: E.onlineBoard This paragraph describes how to configure and use the E.onlineBoard dashboard - To use all the dashboard functions, you must have: o Created devices. o Performed periodic data-retrievals (preferably hourly or daily). o Creating personalized display pages. o Performed data analyses and/or graphic analyses. o Had threshold overruns on the devices. Method Log on to E.online. Click on the icon to display the E.onlineBoard dashboard. The screen page comprises the 5 following areas: My Quantities Direct access to the selected personalized display pages My Analyses Direct access to the selected data analyses and graphic analyses Alarms Display of active alarms as they occur. Access to the alarms log Comparison ( xxxxxxx) My Devices Display in graphic form of the sum of the current consumption and the consumption over a period of reference for the devices selected. Display in graphic form of the consumption on each selected device over the period being analyzed. 17

18 Configuration and use of the "My Quantities" area: o In the "View" menu, click on "Personalized Pages". o Check the box for the personalized page to "add" or "delete". o Click on "Modify E.onlineBoard". o Click on the icon to return to the E.onlineBoard. o The personalized page selected has been added to or deleted from the "My Quantities" page. o Click on the icon to display one or more personalized pages. Configuration and use of the "My Analyses" area: o In the "Analyses" menu, click on "Data Analyses" or "Graphic Analyses". o Check the box for the "data analysis" or "graphic analysis" to "add" or "delete". o Click on "Modify E.onlineBoard". o Click on the icon to return to the E.onlineBoard. o The selected data analysis or graphical analysis has been added to or deleted from the "My Analyses" area. o Click on the icon to display one or more graphic or data analyses. Use of the "Alarms" area: o This area is filled as new threshold overruns are detected in the data analyses. o Click on the icon to display the full list of events on an alarm. o In the list of events, you can "Acknowledge" or "Delete" events selected by checking the corresponding box. o Click on the icon to return to the E.onlineBoard. o The "Alarm" area has been updated. Configuration and use of the "Comparison" and "My Devices" areas: o Click on and position yourself in the "Data for plotting histograms" tab. o Select the unit for display on the left-hand axis of the "Comparison" graph; only devices with the selected unit will be displayed in the list. o Use the check boxes to select the required devices. o Click on "Add" to update the graphs in the "Comparison" and "My Devices" areas o Click on the "Data for plotting histograms" tab. o Select the unit for display on the right-hand axis of the "Comparison" graph; only devices with the selected unit will be displayed in the list. o Use the check boxes to select the required devices. o Click on "Add" to superimpose the curves on the graphs in the "Comparison" area. o Click on "Close" to return to the E.onlineBoard. o There are two colours in the histograms: Blue for current data from the period analysed. Grey for historical reference data. 18

19 o The curves on the graphs are displayed in two different ways: Continuous line for current data from the period analysed. Dotted line for historical reference data. o The window for analyzing the current data graphs is selected by clicking on: for the current day (unit: hour). for the current week (unit: day). for the current month (unit: day). o The reference data for the comparison are selected by clicking on: for the previous day, week or month. for the same day, week or month in the previous year. o The command can be used to display or delete the curves in the "Comparison" graph. IMPORTANT: The graphs in the "Comparison" and "My Devices" areas are updated every time there is a dataretrieval from the devices displayed. If you choose hourly data-retrievals, the data in the graphs, analyses and alarms will be updated every hour. 19

20 XII. Creating a Communication Link This paragraph describes how to create a communication link with your products - Communication links connect the devices to the data-retrieval engine. Each device must be equipped with a communication link. Method Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. Click on the icon and then select "Communication link". Click on the "Add" action. Enter : o A "Label" for your Communication Link. o The Link Type and associated parameters. For the "PSTN Modem" type, you must complete the following fields: o Label o Transmission mode: RTU (default value) or ASCII o Call number o HangUp (ms) o Timeout (ms) o Attempts For the "Serial port RS485/RS232", you must complete the following fields: o Label o Transmission mode: RTU (default value) or ASCII o Communication port o Timeout (ms) o Attempts o Speed (bauds) o Parity o Data bits (bits) o Stop bits (bits) For the "Ethernet/LAN" type, you must enter the following fields: o Label o Transmission mode: RTU (default value) or ASCII o IP address o TCP port o Timeout (ms) o Attempts Click on "Confirm" to record the parameter settings and then jump to the list of communication links. You can "Add", "Delete", "Modify" or "Copy" communication links. 20

21 XIII. Creating an FTP Server Communication link This paragraph describes how to create a communication link with an FTP Server - FTP Server Communication links allow you to use data stored on an FTP server. Operating Mode Log on to Eonline with an account with Eonline administrator rights. Click on the icon, then select "FTP Collector". Click on the "Add" action. Enter : o A "Label" for your Communication Link. o Select the network type "FTP". o FTP data: WD RF Collector (for the Radio Frequency communication mode). o RF address of the WD Radio Frequency data collector. o FTP mode: passive o IP Address of the FTP server. o Port of FTP server commands (21 by default). o Login for access to the FTP server. o Password for access to the FTP server. o FTP Server Data-Retrieval Period: programmable from 5 min to 24 hours or cyclic programming (Every Day or the first day of the month). o Data directory in the FTP server: directory access path. o Configuration directory in the FTP server: directory access path. o Alarms directory in the FTP server: directory access path. Check the "Activate" box to activate periodic data-retrieval from the Radio Frequency data collector. Click on "Confirm" to save the parameter settings and jump to the list of communication links. You can "Add", "Delete", "Modify", "Copy", conduct a "Communication Test", or "Reset" a communication link with an FTP server. The use of the "reset" command enables the "Status" of the communication to be forced to idle. 21

22 XIV. Creating a communication link with an ELOG Concentrator This paragraph describes how to create a communication link with an ELOG Data Logger / concentrator - The communication link with ELOG is operational. - The ELOG concentrator is configured. Operating Mode Log on to Eonline with an account with Eonline administrator rights. Click on the icon, then select "ELOG Concentrator". Click on the "Add" action. Enter : o A "Label" for your ELOG concentrator. o Specify the "URI" of the ELOG (IP address or hostname). o Click on the "Scan" command to read the serial number of the ELOG. o Choose an "ELOG data-retrieval period" to retrieve the data recorded in the ELOG (from every 5 minutes to every 24 hours) - usual values: 1h or 24h or cyclic programming (Every Day or the first day of the month). o Check the "Activate" box to activate the automatic and periodic data-retrieval of the ELOG, or uncheck the "Activate" box to stop the automatic and periodic dataretrieval of the ELOG. Click on "Confirm" to save the parameter settings and jump to the ELOG list. Click on the "Synchronize" command to retrieve the configuration of Devices and associated variables, configured in the ELOG. o The list of retrieved variables and Devices are visible in the " - Installation Devices" menu. o During the synchronization, only the label of the variable is retrieved. To assign levels to the Devices of the ELOG, use the " - Installation Devices" menu). o You can "Delete", "Modify", "Copy", "Move", "Monitor" a device, as well as conduct a "Communication test", configure "Thresholds" for a variable with the " Installation Devices" menu). You can "Add", "Delete", "Modify", "Copy", conduct a "Communication Test", or "Reset" a communication link with an ELOG. The use of the "reset" command enables the "Status" of the communication with an ELOG to be forced to idle. NOTE: During each periodic or cyclic data-retrieval in an ELOG by Eonline, a synchronization of Devices and variables is also performed. 22

23 REMINDERS for ELOG: In an ELOG, variables are connected to a Driver which is associated with a Device. Two types of variables are managed: index and analogue. Two types of access to a variable: viewing the instantaneous and/or periodic recordings (data recorded by ELOG) for this variable. Behaviour of E.online with regards to modifications in ELOG: Deletion of a variable in a Driver: o The variable will no longer be accessible for viewing and data-retrieval by E.online. o The variable is not deleted in E.online. Deletion of a Device: o The variables will no longer be accessible for viewing and data-retrieval by E.online. o The Device is not deleted in E.online. Adding of a variable in a Driver: o During the first data-retrieval, during the synchronization stage, the variable is automatically added to E.online. Adding of a Device: o During the first data-retrieval, during the synchronization stage, the Device is automatically added to E.online. Modification of the label of a variable of a Driver or a digital input: o During the first data-retrieval, during the synchronization stage, the label of the variable is automatically modified in E.online. Modification of the label of a Device o No modification of the label of the Device in E.online. Modification of the recording period in a Device: o The recordings of the variables of a Device continue to be retrieved by E.online. 23

24 XV. Creating the Architecture of the Devices This paragraph describes how to build the architecture of the Devices - You must first consider how you wish your Devices to be displayed in an architecture based on the model "directory / subdirectory 1 / subdirectory 2 /...". - For example, this architecture may represent the geographical or functional organization of the Devices on the installation. Method Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. Click on the icon and then select "Device explorer". Click on the directory of your choice or on the "Topology" root directory. Click on "Add" (up to 4 levels of directories max.). Enter: o A "Label" for your directory. Click on "Confirm" to record the parameters settings and then jump to the Devices treestructure. You can "Delete", "Rename" or "Move" directories. 24

25 XVI. Creating the Energy Use for the Devices This paragraph describes how to add labels for the Energy Use on the installation - You must have already entered the list of the different types of Energy handled on the installation. Method Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. Click on the icon and then select "Energy Use". Click on "Add". Enter: o A "Label" for the Energy Uses (e.g. lighting treated water, heating, etc.). o Select an icon (the image of the icon corresponding to the Energy Type is placed beforehand in the directory EonlineII\tomcat7\webapps\eonline2\images\cat). Click on "Confirm" to record the parameter settings and then jump to the list of energy types You can "Add", "Modify" or "Delete" Energy Use. 25

26 XVII. Creating Communicating Jbus Modbus Device This paragraph describes how to add an ENERDIS-brand device to E.online - You must have added a "communication link" for products connected via an RS485 JBUS serial bus. Operating Mode Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. Click on the icon and then select "Devices". Click on "Add". Enter: o A "Label" for your device o Levels 1 to 4 of the device display architecture by means of drop-down lists. o Select the "Energy Use" associated with the device. Choose the "JBus" or "ModBusTCP" protocol: o "Communication" Depending on the Type of Protocol: JBus: Choose the communication link associated with the Device then specify the JBus address of the Device. Modbus/TCP: Enter the IP address, the TCP port (502 by default), the Modbus slave address, the timeout (1000 ms by default) and the number of tries (1 by default) for the device. 27 XVIII. Creating a Radio Frequency Device This paragraph explains how to add a Radio Frequency Device - You must have added an FTP type "communication link". Operating Mode Log on to E.online with an account with E.online administrator rights. Click on the icon, then select "Devices". Click on the "Add" action. Enter : o A "Label" for your Device. o Levels 1 to 4 of the Device presentation architecture from the scroll-down lists. o Select the "Energy Use" associated with the Device. "Data-retrieval mode periodicity": Select hours, days or months o Times: the data nearest to the hour shall be selected for analyses of tables and charts. o Days: the data nearest to midnight shall be selected for analyses of tables and charts. o Months: the data nearest to the first of each month at midnight shall be selected for analyses of tables and charts. Use the check boxes to select the devices or variables requiring periodic processing (devices or variables with manual data input are identified by an index in the "type" column, e.g. I for index input). Click on "Next" to jump to "Data input". Check that you are within the required input period (see time/date stamp in the top lefthand corner of the input form). You can enter or modify the data in the table cells subject to the following rules: o "cumulated index": value read on a meter and cumulated over time (E.online will automatically calculate the precise value between two cells by calculating the difference between two indices). o "difference between 2 indices: cumulated value over the input period (hour, day, month or year E.online does not perform any calculations on these manually-input data). o "instantaneous or average value": instantaneous values for the hour, day, month or year, or average values over the hour, day; month or year (E.online does not perform any calculations on these manually-input data). Click on "Confirm" to save the input and jump to the list of manual input tasks or on "Reinitialize" to return to the initial values prior to modification. Method Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. Click on the icon and then select "Automatic Tasks - Data-retrievals". Click on "Add". Enter a "Label" for your data-retrieval action. Click on "Next" to jump to "Choice of Devices". Check the relevant boxes to choose the Devices for which you require data-retrieval. Click on "Next" to jump to "Choice of actions". You can "Add", "Delete" or "Modify" a data-retrieval, "Monitor" execution of the dataretrieval, "Execute" or "Stop" a data-retrieval immediately, view the "Log" of a data-retrieval, "Reinitialize" the log of a data-retrieval and "Reinitialize" a data-retrieval. IMPORTANT: the tolerance of the query window for a retrieved data value to be validated in the E.online database can be configured (see paragraph on "Modifying the parameter settings of the software"). 34

35 XXIV. Viewing the Log of Data-Retrievals This paragraph describes how to view the log of data-retrievals - Data-retrievals must have been performed. Method Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. In the "View" menu, click on "Data-retrieval log". Choose the date of the last data-retrieval to view. Indicate the number of data-retrievals to view from the date indicated. Select the label of the data-retrieval in the list of data-retrievals. The list of data-retrievals is displayed. Check the box for a data-retrieval and then click on "Consult" to analyze the details of the data-retrieval. Click on "Delete" if you want to delete the content of the journal before a given date. Indicate the date and then click on "Delete data". 35

Select a type of analysis from the list of possible analyses. Click on "Next" to jump to "Choice of Variables". Check the boxes of the variables of Devices that you wish to analyse. Click on "Next" to jump to "Choice of dates". Use the calendars to choose the period covered by your analysis. Click on "Next" to jump to "Parameters of analysis". Select the energy units that you want to analyze and the tariff contracts to be linked to them if you want to convert the values into financial data. Click on "Next" to jump to "Summary". Click on "Execute" to execute and record the configuration of the analysis or on "Confirm" to record the configuration; you will then jump to the list of analyses. You can "Add", "Delete", "Modify" or "Execute" an analysis or view the "Result" of an analysis executed previously. 36

Creating a Graphic Analysis The paragraph describes how to create graphics from the data retrieved remotely from the devices - Data retrieval must have been performed at least once on the devices analysed. Method Log on to E.online with a user or administrator account. In the "Analysis" menu, choose "Graphics". Click on "Add". Enter a "Label" for your analysis. Select a type of analysis from the list of possible analyses. Click on "Next" to jump to "Choice of Variables". Check the boxes of the variables of Devices that you wish to analyse. Click on "Next" to jump to "Graphic analysis". If necessary, use the calendars to choose the period (Analysis start date and Analysis end date) covered by your analysis. Click on "OK" and the graphics will be displayed. You can "Cancel" the configuration, "Export" the graphics as images or "Save" the configuration. In the list of graphic analyses, you can "Add", "Delete", "Modify" or "View" graphic analyses. 37

Creating a Conversion Rule for the Units This paragraph describes how to create a virtual Device (arithmetic combination of several variables) - Method Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. Enter: o A "Label" for your unit conversion law. o Drag and drop into the "Authorized Users" window the names of the people authorized to view the device. Click on "Next" to jump to "Conversion formula". Indicate the "source unit" (e.g. kwh); this is the unit of a device, so you must enter the exact label of the source unit. Enter the conversion formula; the unit to be processed is represented by "x" (e.g. x*2.583: the source unit will be multiplied by to obtain a result in the target unit). You can also use formulae: o See link Indicate the "target unit" obtained after applying the conversion law (e.g. TCO2). Click on "Next" to jump to "Summary". Click on "Confirm" to record the parameter settings and jump to the list of conversion laws. Check the box for one of the conversion laws in the list. Click on the command "Link to list of variables". Check the variables of Devices to associate with the selected units conversion law. Click on "Confirm" to record the parameter settings and jump to the list of conversion laws. You can "Add", "Delete" or "Modify" a unit conversion law, and you can also link a list of devices to a unit conversion law. 38

A list of the variables of Devices is displayed Check the boxes of the variables of Devices that you wish to use for the virtual Device. Click on "Next" to jump to "Equation". Select a sign and enter a multiplying coefficient (default value: 1) for each device in the list. Click on "Next" to jump to "Summary". Click on "Confirm" to record the parameter settings and jump to the list of Calculations and EnPI. You can "Add", "Delete", "Modify", "Copy" or "Move" a Calculation, as well as add a "Threshold" to a Calculation. 39

Click on "Next" to jump to "Choice of Variables". Indicate the "unit" for the result of the division (free input, e.g. kwh/m²). Select a "numerator" in the list of available variables. Select a "denominator" in the list of available variables. Click on "Next" to jump to "Equation". Select the "numerator unit" in the list of possible units (a given variable may have several units in E.online, e.g. kwh, kwh oe, TCO2, etc.) (See paragraph on "Unit conversion"). Select the "denominator unit" in the list of possible units. Click on "Next" to jump to "Summary". Click on "Confirm" to save the parameter settings and jump to the list of Calculations and EnPI. You can "Add", "Delete", "Modify", "Copy" or "Move" an EnPI and you can also add a threshold to an EnPI. 40

Adding a Threshold to a Physical or Virtual Device This paragraph describes how to add an overrun alert threshold on the retrieved data (e.g. consumption) from a physical or virtual device - You must have added at least one "Device". Click on the icon and then select "Devices" or open the "Advanced functions" menu and choose "Calculations and EnPI". Select a device or a virtual device (Calculations or EnPI) by checking the corresponding box. Click on "Threshold" to jump to the list of thresholds for the device selected. Proceed as follows: o Enter a "Label" for your threshold. o Select the threshold's operating mode: "Normal" or "Exception" ("Exception" mode means that the threshold takes priority over all the other thresholds for the period when the threshold is applicable). o Select the Threshold Type: "Hours", "Day", "Month" or "Year" in "Max" or "Min" value trigger mode. o Enter the threshold value (numerical value). o Select a variable from the proposed list. o Select the period of application of the Threshold (start date and end of application). o Select the periodicity for application of the threshold over the period. o Activate the threshold by checking the relevant box. Click on "Add" to jump to the list of thresholds for the device. You can "Add", "Delete" or "Modify" thresholds. 41

Viewing the history of threshold overshoots This paragraph explains how to view the log of overshoots for thresholds programmed for the Devices - Thresholds must have been programmed for the device. - At least one data-retrieval must have been performed on the devices analysed. - Threshold overruns must have been recorded. Method Log on to E.online with an account. In the "'View" menu, click on "Threshold log". You can view the list of all the threshold overruns recorded in E.online. Adding a Generic Driver This paragraph describes how to add and configure a generic driver for ModBus and ModBus TCP devices - You must possess the mapping of the table of quantities to be used. Method Log on to E.online with an account that gives you E.online administrator rights. Click on the icon and then select "Generic drivers". Click on "Add". Enter: o A "Label" for your generic driver o A "Version" reference for the generic driver o The product's "Reversal time" in ms. o The maximum "Return time" authorized ins ms. Click on "Next" to jump to "Choice of mapping variables". In the "Add or modify a mapping variable" part, enter: o A "Label" for the mapping variable to be used. o A "Type" for the variable: Index: if it is a variable to measure a cumulated value over time (example: index of a counter). Instantaneous value: if it is a simple measurement variable (example: analogue signal of a temperature). Character String : if it is a data string. o For "Index" and "Instantaneous value" mapping variables, enter: The "Address" in the mapping to read the variable. The Unit of the variable. The "Nature" of the variable (uint32: unsigned 32-bit value, int32: signed 32- bit value). "Order" for reading the variable: - Big Endian: most significant byte with the lowest address. - Little Endian: least significant byte with the lowest address. The "Mask" allows you to use only part of the variable (e.g. the mask to be used to process the first 8 bits of a 32-bit Big Endian is in binary, i.e FF in hexadecimal). Example: 43

Use the "Add a variable" command to add variables to the list of mapping variables. The "Test a mapping variable" part can be used to check that the variable is read correctly: o Select a "Variable" from the list of available variables. 44

Instantaneous variable: if it involves a simple measurement variable. The "Unit" for the composite variable. Select "Operand 1" from the list of available variables. Check the "Breakdown (Month, Day, hour)" box if the periodic recording of the two variables, using the automatic data-retrieval function, must be used to calculate the values over the entire periods of the hour, day and month. Creating a Device with a GENERIC DRIVER This paragraph describes how to add a device of any brand to E.online - You must have added a "communication link" for the products connected via an RS485 JBUS serial bus and you must have defined the parameters of a generic driver. Modbus/TCP: enter the IP address, the TCP port (502 by default), the Modbus slave address, the timeout (1000 ms by default) and the number of tries (1 by default) for the device. Click on "Add" Enter: o A "Label" for the Task to be automated. o Select the "Type of analysis": This paragraph describes how to create an automatic periodic task for sending the Analyses and Alerts by "Energy Analysis": data from the data-retrieval of Recording curves. "Index Analysis": data from the periodic data-retrieval of index values. Click on "Next" to jump to "Available analyses". From the possible options, select the moment and periodicity for the triggering of the automatic task (the shall be sent at 5 a.m., configurable in a conf file). Click on "Next" to jump to "Programming". From the list of analyses, select which one you wish to receive periodically and automatically by . Click on "Next" to jump to "Mail". Principle of an SQL Connector / Data Access This paragraph explains the principle of an SQL connector Description An SQL connector is an automatic task which is executed periodically (e.g.: every day at 4 a.m.) or upon an event (e.g.: end of execution of a periodic retrieval of data from communicating devices), and which enables values (consumption, index, average values, financial data, etc.) from different devices and variables to be exported into specific tables. Only the data of variable selected to be "part" of a connector is visible in the export tables. To be selectable, a variable must have its measurement unit associated with a tariff contract (see paragraph "Configuring a Tariff contract for energy units"). A variable can be associated with several tariff contracts configured on the same devices. However, the "Device / Variable" and "Tariff contract" couple is still unique (it is impossible to create the same "Device / Variable" and "Tariff contract" couple in two different connectors, to prevent duplicates in the database). For automatic tasks executed automatically following an event (e.g.: end of the execution of a periodic data-retrieval from communicating devices). The data available in the export tables is automatically replaced by the new retrieved values, without having to create an SQL connector beforehand. 69

Database Backup This paragraph describes how to back up the E.online application Important Backing up the database is essential for any operation or new installation or correction made to Eonline2. Backing up enables the database to be reconstructed if necessary, in the event of data loss or corruption. MySQL has a specific command: "mysqldump". This triggers a "dump" of the database, in the form of a file with an extension of ".sql". - Have access rights to the E.online installation directory. Operating Mode On the data partition, and if necessary the system partition, create a data backup directory: Create a directory: "backup Eonline II" (for example). Go to the Eonline 2 installation directory. Go into the binary directory of the MySQL server: "EonlineII\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin". Copy the "backup.bat" database backup file if it does not exist.
