Pull Reports from RIS If reports are made by the RIS they can be pulled by VM PACS, this configuration must be set with Visual Medica Engineers Save Settings 7

13 Servidor Dicom Configuration Description Input the Dicom Server Description AE Title Set VM PACS AE Title, this information will be used in all Dicom association established. Hostname Input VM PACS Hostname, it allows IP or hostname, set this information according to the network site configuration Port Set Listening Port. WARNING!! Remember to create all firewall necessary exceptions. If the port is blocked, Dicom communications will fail. Publish txt file at the time images arrives to VM PACS If this check box is set; VM PACS Creates a.txt named after study UID-Date-Time. Compare Study Data with Worklist Compare Information with information in Dicom Modality Worklist If information is not consistent VM Pacs Send a Message to the PACS Administrator, this configuration MUST be set with a Visual Medica Engineer. 14 Dicom Printers Dicom Printers List Display Dicom Printers List Printer Data Input Dicom Printer Information Description AE Title Hostname Port Layout Set default Layout Format Color/Monochrome Settings To Set the Printer Setting make sure to have the printer information Orientation: Portrait/Landscape Size: Film Size Destiny: BIN or Processor Resolution: DPI Magnification: None/Cubic/Replicate Softness: High/Med/Low Trim: Yes/No Polarity: Normal/Reverse Print Job Priority Medium: Blue Film/Mammo Film/Clear Film/Paper Copies Bits Density Min. 15 Backup Settings Backup Delete Studies Backup Delete Studies until the Disk Space is: If Delete Studies is set; VM PACS will delete the older studies until de disk space reaches the set percentage. Set percentage of Free Space: Start Backup every day at Check to automatically start Backup every day at selected time. Stop Backup every day at Check to automatically start Backup every day at selected time. Delete from disk after backup After the Backup is done VM PACS can't delete the studies already in backup this can be performed manually if is not set to be done automatically. Keep Studies online If Delete Studies after Backup is set, VM PACS Administrator can set the amount of days to keep the studies online (these studies will be in backup and also in the main Server disk) Set the amount of days to keep studies on line. 15

16 Backup main File Size The Backup folder size can be set for CD/DVD, if the Backup is in external media PACS administrator can set it to the institution preferences. Visual Medica Recommend to set it to 1500Mb to optimize backup searches Set the size of backup subfolders. Start Backup when disk space is less than Backup folder size can be set for CD/DVD, if the Backup is in external media PACS administrator can set it to the institution preferences. Visual Medica Recommend to set it to 1500Mb to optimize backup searches Set the size of backup subfolders. Save in CD Backup in CD/DVD media. If the Backup is set to be done in CD/DVD media, after each CD/DVD burned VM PACS will indicate the number to label the disk. Save in: Set the path for the Backup. Automatized Backup Database at: Check to automatically start Database Backup every day at selected time Set the size of backup subfolders Accept Digital Audio Digital Recording Application Path Set the Digital Audio recording application path: Click on the button to browse the computer. Digital Audio Path Set the Digital Audio recording application path: Accept Click on the button to browse the computer. 16

17 Report Copy Report Copy Path Set the path in which the Report copy will be saved. Click on the button to browse. Create a Report Copy Check to render a Report copy Save as rtf Check to Save the copy as *.rtf Save as doc Check to Save the copy as *.rtf Use Tag as Report Name Name the Copy after: Patient ID Study ID Accession Number Accept 17

18 Visualization Preferences Series default display Set the default series visualization. This visualization can be change by the user in the Workstation Visualization Matrix tool If Autoformat is set the system will show all the series in the Study. (Max series shown 4x2) Images default Display Set the default images visualization. This visualization can be change by the user in the Workstation Visualization Matrix tool If Autoformat is set the system will show all the images in the series. (Max image shown 4x8) Mammography N/A Magnification Options N/A Always Show Miniatures Check to always show the miniature Bar Show N days at program start To optimize the Study list set the default days to show in the program, users can search previous studies setting the date Set the default days to be shown at the program start 18

19 Customized Dicom Tags Customized Dicom Tags will be displayed in the screen and also will be the tags printed when a Dicom print is performed. Customized Dicom Tags must be performed for each modality. Modality Select the modality for customized Dicom Tags Set Personalized Tags Check to use personalized tags Font Size Select the font size Set the font size from 10% to 400% 19

20 Dicom Tags Chose the Dicom Tag to be displayed Check Include Tag (8) to include the selected tag Preview A preview of the selected data and position will be displayed to help the Administrator with the configuration Up Move up the selected tag to be displayed above the others. Down Move down the selected tag to be displayed below the others. Include Tag Check to include the selected tag Separate by Select the tag separator Space Coma Semicolon Script Row Position Select the tag position Horizontal: Right/Left Vertical: Top/Bottom Save Close 20

21 Customized Presets Window/Level Presets List Display a list with the Custom W/L presets Modality Each Customized preset must be set by modality Select Modality Key Set the key to use the preset Choose a key from F2 to F12 Description Set a description for the customized preset Window Customized Window Set the custom window Level Customized Level Add Modify Delete Close Set the custom level Monitor Display Settings VM Pacs allows the user to set screen sets. Set 1, 2 Monitors with extended desktop or 3 independent Monitors to set VM PACS and RIS, These configurations must be set with a Visual Medica Engineer Save Changes 21
