1 The RadInfo software can either be downloaded from the IntraVet FTP site or installed via CD. The MicroPowerPACS (MPPS) software and full viewer is to be installed on the workstation that will be directly plugged into the digital imaging device (ie. ScanX, Schick). This is usually a laptop or a workstation sold by IntraVet. Clinics wanting to use RadInfo will need to be on IntraVet version 298 or higher. The RSVS viewer should be version 8. IntraVet Build 298 or better must be installed locally on the acquisition computer (PACS Server). The listener will be setup and used through the Temp folder. INSTALLING MPPS ON THE WORKSTATION CONNECTED TO THE DIGITAL DEVICE: 1. Double left click on the Setup.exe file from the CD or inside the RadInfo folder. 2. Select Next. 3. Select to Accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next. Updated:

2 4. Leave the selection for Default and click Next. 5. Leave the Destination Folder as C:\imgdata\ and click Next. 6. Click Next for the Confirm Third party Application Installation and MSDE database installation. Updated:

3 7. Keep Nero TM selected as the backup medium and click Next. 8. Keep No thanks! for the option of installing a tape driver and click Next. 9. Check the appropriate boxes to install the drivers for the digital device that will be used. Check all the drivers if you are unsure of the device and click Next. Updated:

4 10. Click Next to begin copying program files. Computers with the Windows Vista operating system will receive an error stating that Nero TM has known compatibility issues. Click Cancel to continue with the install. 11. Keep the checkmark for Install Adobe Reader and click Finish. Those on Windows Vista operating system may have a compatibility issue error come up for Adobe 7.0. Click Cancel to complete the install. Now that MicroPowerPACS is installed you can launch the program for configuration. Updated:

5 12. Register the software by clicking on the link listed. You may also register by calling (703) or ing (Click Cancel for testing purposes). 13. Enter User Name: Intra Password: osman then click Login to open the program. 14. Navigate to File MWL Setup and enter the settings below and then click OK. > Host Name: > Port: 104 > Check Match Modality box and enter CR in the field next to the box > AE Title: IntraVet_MWL_SERVER > Shared File: C:\IntraVet\Temp\vettags.txt Updated:

6 15. Next copy the RSVSVIEWER folder from the RadInfo CD to the IntraVet folder on the local workstation that will have MPPS on it. Copy the IVTLOGON.DAT file into the PROG Folder. This file can be copied from an IntraVet CD or downloaded from our ftp site. 16. Once copied into the IntraVet folder open up the config.exe file from the RSVS Folder. 17. Click on Configuration Dicom Nodes Local Nodes. Enter the following and click OK: > Host Name: Localhost > DICOM AE Title and Description: MPP-RSVS > Port Number: Next open the IntravetMwlSCP.exe file from within C:\IntraVet\Prog. Updated:

Make sure the following information is correct and click Close: Service Class Provider: > AE Title: INTRAVET_MWL_SERVER > Port Number: 104 Clients Section: > Client Name: MPP-MWL > Client IP address: Create a shortcut for IntraVetMwlSCP.exe file and place on the desktop and add shortcut to the Startup folder so the program launches automatically when the computer starts. 21. Open IntraVet and navigate to SETUP OTHER PROGRAMS RSVS VIEWER SETUP. Enter C:\Intravet\RSVS\CMDRSVS.exe OpenRWLWITHFILE into the RSVS View Path field. Note: There is a space between EXE and OPENRWLWITHFILE. IntraVet and RADINFO are now ready for local use on this computer. Updated:

8 > Client Creation >RadInfo & Image Software Viewing in RadInfo Install 1. To install a viewer for Terminal Services, go to the workstation were the MicroPowerPACS software is installed and running. 2. Open up the MPPS work list and navigate to FILE CONFIGURE MICRO POWERPACS CONFIG. 3. Click the Clients tab and create a client node for the server and fill in the following fields: > Host Name: > AE Title: RSVS > IP Address: > Port Number: 104 > Description: IntraVet RSVS. 4. Click Add once the new node is created then click Save/Exit. Any client setup for viewing will need to have a client node established. 5. On the Server, copy the RSVS Viewer Folder to the Intravet directory and double click on the config.exe file inside the RSVS Folder. Updated:

9 6. Click on Configuration Dicom Nodes Local Nodes. Set the following and click OK: > Host Name: Localhost > DICOM AE Title: MPP-RSVS > Port Number: 104 > Description: MPP RSVS 7. Open IntraVet and go to SETUP OTHER PROGRAMS RSVS VIEWER SETUP and enter D:\Intravet\RSVS\CMDRSVS.exe OpenRWLWITHFILE in the RSVS Viewer Path and click Save. NOTE: There is a space between EXE and OPENRWLWITHFILE. Updated:

10 The modality work list is generated by entering a modality type when creating a patient appointment in IntraVet. Once the appointment has been entered, clinics can open the modality work list on the PACS server to view the patient and then attach images. Images saved on the PACS server will now be available for viewing from patient history in IntraVet by right clicking in the history and selecting the menu choice: RSVS Viewer Updated:

11 Only one session of the viewer can be run using Terminal Services. This means that any computer connecting through a remote session can open the patient history and viewer, but only one computer at a time will be able to view images. Images can be viewed by multiple users at once if Intravet is running locally on the workstations and a separate viewer is installed for each one. NOTE WORTHY THINGS ABOUT RADINFO: > The static IP of the MPPS for IntraVet networks will always be set to as the standard. Clinics that do not setup networks based on IntraVet s scheme will need to assign a static IP address number. The IP address should be left to the discretion of the clinic s network administrator. > Intravet backup does not include RadInfo images. Be sure to create a regular back up of the Image folder on the workstation with the Micro PACS server on it. > If there is a question about the Modality work list or attaching images to the patient s work list, clinics should call RadInfo support at (703) > Patients should never be added directly to Power PACS work list. Creating an appointment is the only way a patient s information should be added to the work list. > RSVS Viewer should be 8.0 or better for clinics running Terminal Services. > The workstation running MPPS and any workstations running the RSVS viewer locally should be statically assigned to prevent potential problems with changing IP s. > We recommend using Microsoft Windows XP PRO as the operating system that needs to be installed to run the MicroPowerPACS software. > The work list must be running on the workstation for IntraVet to communicate with it. The IntraVet Modality work list should only be running on the workstation that has the MicroPowerPACS software on it. Updated:
