Once the logger is awake, you can send one of the fallowing messages to the logger with your cellular phone : - TTTT# (Test) Logger s reply : TTTT Firmware version GSM signal strength Message meter Battery State Last reading for each channel - SigN# (with N = Test duration in Minute) Logger s reply : Sig Firmware version GSM signal strength Message meter Minimum GSM Signal Maximum GSM Signal Average GSM Signal GSM Signal Standard Site name - Stat# (Last readings) Logger s reply : Stat GSM signal strength Message meter Battery State Site name Type of logger Last reading for each channel - Head# (Details) Logger s reply : Head Firmware Version Note GSM signal strength Logger s date and Time Time difference Recording start time Sample period State - Totl# (Total Volume) Logger s reply : Totl Firmware Version GSM signal strength Message meter Site name Type of logger Note Total volume date and time Total volume for each channel - Ntest# Logger s reply : Min, Avg, Maximum level
39 Page Send a SMS from Winfluid Once the logger is awake, send SMS messages from the automatic download, paragraph 3.2. You first have to create a Task, paragraph 3.2.2, right click on this task and then select Send a SMS (green arrow) Select what type of message you want to send and press Ok. Contrary to the method with a cell phone, this way to communicate with the logger gives the opportunity to check the whole sytem, from the logger and its modem to the software and its modem as well.
40 Page SMS reception on winfluid This kind of test allows you to verify the good reception of SMS messages on the Winfluid automatic download, paragraph 3.2. You cand send a SMS message from your cellular phone to the GSM modem installed on your computer in order to check the good reception. You will see the message appear into the SMS heading with the text sent.
