3 FIRST STEP : SOFTWARE SETUP Don t connect your device yet! Insert the CD in your PC, accept the automatic setup This window appears on your screen : Double click on the icon in the middle in order to install the software Follow all the steps When setup is complete, go to second step :

SECOND STEP : VOICE SETUP In order to setup the speech function corresponding to your language, double click on the corresponding flag : Follow setup steps THIRD STEP : CONNECT YOUR DEVICE

4 SECOND STEP : VOICE SETUP In order to setup the speech function corresponding to your language, double click on the corresponding flag : Follow setup steps THIRD STEP : CONNECT YOUR DEVICE 1) Connect your device to your computer 2) Wait 2 to 3 minutes Your computer has to configure automatically the driver of your instrument (Driver installed together with the main software)

5 3) Launch the software Click on the two melon on your desktop 4) Go to the menu Settings under the line Link to sensor, you should have a green line. If it is red, click on the small picture with a usb connector on the right The software will search automatically your device. Don t Click on the buttons in the CALIBRATION frame! Don t change the number of steps! 5) Choose your language, and enable the voice messages

6 LET S START MEASUREMENTS! Two types of measurements : 1) You can use your instrument as a laboratory scale 2) You can use your instrument as a weight recorder 1) Laboratory scale Click on the button Laboratory scale on the left Press directly on TARE in order to define the 0 grams, or put a box or a recipient and then press on TARE in order to use this box for all the measurements

7 2) Weight recorder Click on the button Weight recorder on the left Press directly on TARE in order to define the 0 grams, or put a box or a recipient and then press on TARE in order to use this box for all the measurements Give a name to your batch, directly in the tab batch designation The batch number is incremented automatically, but you can as well change it. Don t change Stabilization time, Trigger and Mini Threshold for the first time you are using the balance After that, you can try to change those figures very slowly. The principle is that a weight is registered when it is stable within the Mini Threshold during the stabilization time And is higher than the trigger Press on the blue button It becomes red Put your first fruit till the weight is displayed on the graph Remove it, and put your second fruit till its weight is displayed and so on When you have finished your batch, press on the red button The batch is registered BATCHES CONSULTATION You can consult the previous batches in the menu Batches consultation In this menu In this menu, you can : - Search old batches by name or date - Obtain the values measured in old batches - Delete old batches - Display comparative graphs between different batches - Export the data to Excel through.csv Excel compatible files
