1 Cloud On-Demand Print (CODP) Operational Procedure 7 th April, 08 Third Edition Ritsumeilkan CO-OP(APU CO-OP) A new printing option will be available in April 08. You won`t have to use PCs in the MMR or USB memory. You will be able to send print jobs directly from your own computer or smartphone, and when you enter the code into the printer you will be able to print your documents. 8 of these new printers will be available in the locations shown below. You can pay for your documents using your Student ID / Co-op Card. Locations of CODP Printers: Print Corner in Library ( MFPs) *Copy Cards OK Multimedia Room ( MFPs) Atrium st floor Bldg. F ( MFPs) *Copy Cards OK *Printing to printers other than those listed above will require you to print the document from the computer located next to the printer and can only be paid for with a Copy Card.

3 . How to send print jobs (From a PC) Prepare by uploading your file to the cloud and sending it to a printer. How to print from a PC Uploading a File using a Web browser Supported OS: cloud_ondemand_print/system.html Upload Print Please use on CODP compatible machines at the university. Supported file types Access the following URL. guestweb/ We recommend uploading PDFs. The maximum file size that can be uploaded is 00MB. You can also drag and drop a file here to upload it. Password for Printing Upload If you choose to set a Password, please enter a -digit password in half-width numbers. Make sure not to forget your password. The [Print Reference Number] is required to complete the printing process. Also, you cannot check it after you close the [Upload Completed] page. Be sure to write it down. If you can not remember it, please upload your file again. Please print the uploaded file within hours. After hours it will be deleted and you will need to upload the file again.

How to print from a Mobile Device using a dedicated mobile application Supported OS: cloud_ondemand_print/system.html Please install the mobile application Application Name: Cloud On-Demand Print Please use with CODP compatible machines at the university. 5 . IC Card Reader Device Operation (Student ID Card) Make sure not to forget your card! When using a college student cooperative IC card, Use the IC Card Cashier. You can copy or print up to the amount loaded on the card. The display shows the card balance. {Card Number or User ID} ト スウ : (Balance being charged ) Please print from the nearby copier using Cloud On-Demand Print When printing is completed, press the <Eject Card> button. Make sure the machine displays this message and remove the card. カート ヲトリタ シテクタ サイ (Remove IC CARD) シヨウテ キナイカート テ ス (This card can not be used) If you see the above message, remove the card once using the <eject card> button and make sure you are using the right card. If the card type is correct but you still see this error message, please contact us using the information shown below. For devices with an IC Card Cashier installed, the first card inserted takes precedence. If you cannot remove the card for any reason, please contact the Co-op (E Building F). For inquiries:

6 . Prepaid Card Reader Operation (Copy Card) Make sure not to forget your card! When using a Copy Card ( コピーカード ), Use Dispenser. You can copy or print up to the amount loaded on the card. Dispenser Message display Prepaid Card insertion slot < カード取り出し > ボタン <Eject Card> button Please insert in the direction of the arrow, facing up. Confirm the machine is showing this message. カート ヲイレテクタ サイ (Insert IC CARD) Insert a charged copy card into the card insertion slot. The display will show the card balance. When printing is completed, press the <Eject Card> button. Confirm the following message is displayed and remove the card. カート カ チカ イマス (This card is different.) コヒ ーテ キマス (Available Copy Balance) Please print from the nearby copier using Cloud On-Demand Print If you see the above message, remove the card once using the <eject card> button and make sure you are using the right card. 7 . How to print on MFP (/) The uploaded file will be downloaded from the cloud and printed. Using the Control Panel Print Setting(/) Please print the uploaded file within hours. After hours it will be deleted and you will need to upload the file again. Print When printing in black and white, please click and select "black & white from the pull down menu. The Auto Detect setting may cause your document to print in color. Enter the Print Reference Number Cloud On-Demand Print There are print settings pages. (Reference ) Printing from USB memory Print documents and photos stored on USB memory Operation panel of the Copy Machine Select files 6 Close with the Save key Media Print Insert USB memory Only the file name can be checked on the panel. Previews are not displayed. Please check the print orientation and size of the file before printing. Set items as necessary When printing letter size PDF, please change from Auto Select to A in Paper Supply. On Advanced Settings you can choose to print Pages or Pages per sheet. Reading is displayed Do not unplug the USB memory while reading. Data may be damaged. 8 Confirm that printing is completed and then remove the USB memory. 8 Select File From List 7 Press the green スタート button to start printing. Only JPEG and PDF file types can be printed. Cancelling a Print Job If an error occurs due to differences in paper sizes etc., an error message will be displayed. 10 . Important Notes Regarding CODP Printing CODP is a service provided by Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. The APU Co-op has set up machines compatibale with the CODP service at the university and provides the service. The service is available hours a day, 6 days a year. However, the Fuji Xerox company carries out system maintenance about once a month. You may experience service interruptions during this time. Maintenance days will be announced via notifications posted working days in advance on the CODP Website. This service required an Internet connection. In the event of a network service interruption file uploading and printing will not be possible. Files larger than 00MB (0,00KB) cannot be uploaded. Password-protected files cannot be printed. The following file types can be printed using the CODP service, but it is possible the fonts, etc. will be changed. To prevent this, we recommend uploading files in PDF format. Word files (doc, docx) Power files (ppt, pptx) XPS files (xps) JPEG files (jpg, jpeg, jpe) PNG files (png) Excel files (xls, xlsx) Rich Text files (rtf) OpenXPS files (oxps) TIFF files (tif, tiff) Web page * Only ios / Android devices 6. Important Notes Regarding Printing from USB memory You can only print files in PDF or JPEG format. Microsoft Word files and other file types cannot be printed. When printing a letter size PDF, please select A paper. If you leave the paper size set to AUTO it will cause an error. Please press the clear button to cancel it. Only USB with FAT and FAT6 file formats are supported. USB memory formatted in NTFS or exfat cannot be read. You cannot print password-protected files or from password-locked USB sticks. You cannot select which pages of a document to print. 0
