3 Log-On to the System In order to access the Leave Management System, you need to follow the following menu path Myranbaxy Self Service elms On clicking the link, you need to provide your login ID and password as shown in the screen below. On providing the correct login ID and password, the first Screen of the leave management system will open up which displays home page of elms..

4 Apply For Leave In order to apply for Leave, click on the New Leave link provided on the left side of the application page. On clicking on the New Leave Link, the system will ask you to select the Session and the No. of days for which you would like to apply the leave. Please note to enter the correct no. of days and session. Note: - During the month of December leave ledger for new session (next year) will also be made available and will be visible in the session drop down box along with the current year session to enable you to apply leave against next year balance as well. After selecting the Session and entering the No of days, click on the submit button. The system will open the Leave form screen as shown below.

5 Select the Type of leave you would want to apply, Date From and Date To. Specify the Reason for leave, Leave Address and click on the Send button to send the leave for recommendation to your Reporting Manager (name shown against To be Sent for Recommendation field on the screen).

6 Tracking Your Applied Leave Once you have applied for a leave you can track the status of your application by clicking on the Application Status Link on the left side of the application page. The application status link displays the complete track of your leave applications in ascending order of the leaves taken. You can also view the details of Leave Application by clicking the link associated with the Serial No. The Serial No link will show the details as shown below.

7 Cancel/Extend Leave Cancel Leave To cancel an applied leave, click on the application status link on the left side of the application page. Click on the cancel link against the leave that you wish to cancel. The system opens the Leave Cancellation page. You can cancel either complete leave or part leave (as required) by completing the details in the Apply for Cancellation section of the screen. Note: - Leave can be cancelled within 30 days started from the Leave From date. After 30 days link will not be visible for cancel leave.

8 Extend Leave To extend an applied leave, click on the application status link on the left side of the application page. Click on the extend link against the leave that you wish to extend. The system opens up the Leave extension page. You can extend the leave either by changing the From or by changing the To in the Apply for Extension section of the screen. Please note that you can not make the changes in both From and To simultaneously for an extension. In such case, you will need to cancel the current leave and apply for a new leave. Note: - Leave can be extended within 30 days started from the Leave From date. After 30 days link will not be visible for leave extension.

9 Encashment/Extension of Unavailed PL For encashment of your Unavailed PL, click on the Extend/Encash PL link on the left side of the application page. The system opens up the Request form for PL Extension/Encashment as below. Encashment of PL Select the encash radio button in the above screen. Available encashment days will automatically come in the day(s) box. Please note that you can encash the Unavailed PL only in the month of March and September. Your request, duly recommended by your superiors, should reach Corp. HR on or before by 15th of March or September. Extension of PL The Unavailed PL (as per policy) for a year can be extended for one quarter for the next year. To extend the Unavailed PL, select the extend radio button in the above screen. Unavailed PL days for the current session will automatically come in the day(s) box. Please note that the extension request can be made only during the month of December for a year. Your request, duly recommended by your superiors, should reach Corp. HR on or before 31st Dec, otherwise unavailed PL will lapse.

10 Leave Approval by the Reporting Manager To approve leave for your subordinate, click on the Pending for Approval link on the left side of the application page. The system opens up the leave recommendation/approval screen as shown below. Click on the Action button to recommend/approve/reject the leave. The system will open up the recommendation/approval page. You need to provide the remarks for recommending/rejecting a leave application.
