3 RATA Comply Peer-2-Peer RATA Comply Peer-2-Peer is an online application that allows you to compare your institution s submitted HMDA data against others data. See how your institution ranks among others in various categories. Being web-based, Peer-2-Peer requires no software or data installation. All you need to do is login to our web site!

4 Accessing Peer-2-Peer You can access Peer-2-Peer any of the following ways: peer2peer.rataassociates.com > Software > Comply Peer-2-Peer > Login Button.

5 Account Information At the top of each screen, you will see Account Information. This tells you the username of who is logged in, how many total reports you have run, and what status those reports are in: Pending, New or Viewed.

6 Logout When your analysis is complete, simply log out of Peer-2-Peer using the link within Menu.

7 Login You can now login to Peer-2-Peer with the username and password you created when registering.

8 Menu At the top of each screen, you will see Menu. From here, you can logout or access the following: My Reports, My Settings and Help.

9 Register The first thing you will need to do is register for Peer-2-Peer by following the Register link. You will receive an containing the subject line Registration Notification telling you that we received your registration. We will then activate your account and you will receive another containing the subject line Registration Approved telling you that you have been activated.

10 Selection Summary At the bottom of each screen is your Selection Summary. It shows what you have chosen in each step of Peer-2-Peer. If you chose something that is saved, you will see the saved name. If you chose something and did not save it, you will see [Unsaved Selection]. If you skipped an optional screen, you will see None Selected.

11 Start New Analysis You can start over at any time during the process by clicking the Start New Analysis button located at the bottom of every screen.

12 Step 1: Comparator (Required) A. The first step is the Comparator screen. You will need to choose the institution(s) you want to compare to others. This will most likely be your own institution. You can search by a specific agency or all agencies. You can also use Quick Find to search for all or part of the name of an institution. For each institution, the total number of records they submitted is in parentheses after its name. B. Once an institution is chosen, you can click the Info button to see specific information about that institution as well as a map where it is located. C. If your Comparator consists of multiple institutions, you can create a Corporate Group. Highlight each institution you want to include in your group (hold down the Ctrl key while selecting institutions) and type a name for your group. Click the Create Corp. Group button. You will then see the name of your group listed in the Corporate Groups box. These groups can be edited and/or deleted. D. Once your Comparator is selected, you have three options. If you click the Next button, you will have the chance to choose GSA and filter information. If you click the Peer Express button, you will be taken directly to the Peer Groups screen and skip over the GSA and filter screens. If you click the Report Express button, you will be taken directly to the Reports Selection screen where you will only be able to run reports on your Comparator.

14 Step 2: GSA (Required - skipped by Peer Express and Report Express options) A. The second step is the GSA screen. The GSAs can be viewed by MSA/MD or County by clicking the corresponding radio button. B. To save a GSA, make your area selection(s) and type a name for your GSA. Click the Create GSA button. You will then see the name of your GSA listed in the Saved GSA box. These GSAs can be edited and/or deleted. C. Once you have your GSA selected, you have two options. You can click Next if you want to filter the data, which will then take you through the LAR Filter and Demographic Filter screens. If you do not want to filter the data, click the Skip Filters button and you will be taken directly to the Peer Groups screen.

15 Step 3: LAR Filter (Optional - skipped by Peer Express and Report Express options) A. The third step is the LAR Filter screen. You can skip this screen and go directly to the Demographic Filter screen by clicking the Next button. B. To create a LAR filter, choose the appropriate AND or OR operator. Then select a LAR field, condition and value and click the Add Condition button. You can have multiple filter conditions but you cannot mix operators. They must all be joined with AND or they must all be joined with OR. C. To save a filter, make your condition selection(s) and type a name for your filter. Click the Save Filter button. You will then see the name of your filter listed in the Saved LAR Data Filters box. These filters can be edited and/or deleted. D. Once you have your LAR Filter(s) selected, click Next to be taken to the Demographic Filter screen.

16 Step 4: Demographic Filter (Optional - skipped by Peer Express and Report Express options) A. The fourth step is the Demographic Filter screen. You can skip this screen and go directly to the Peer Groups screen by clicking the Next button. B. To create a Demographic filter, choose the appropriate AND or OR operator. Then select a demographic field, condition and value and click the Add Condition button. You can have multiple filter conditions but you cannot mix operators. They must all be joined with AND or they must all be joined with OR. C. To save a filter, make your condition selection(s) and type a name for your filter. Click the Save Filter button. You will then see the name of your filter listed in the Saved Data Filters box. These filters can be edited and/or deleted. D. Once you have your Demographic Filter(s) selected, click Next to be taken to the Peer Groups screen.

17 Step 5: Peer Groups (Required - skipped by Report Express option) A. The fifth step is the Peer Groups screen. You will need to choose the institution(s) you want to compare your Comparator to. You can search by a specific agency or all agencies. You can also use Quick Find to search for all or part of the name of an institution. The results can be sorted by Bank Name or Volume and can be displayed in ascending or descending order. For each institution, the total number of records they submitted is in parentheses after its name. However, if you check the box Filtered Totals and click the GO button, the number in parentheses will change to indicate how many records they submitted that match your filter(s). The number of institutions being displayed based on your Agency and/or Quick Find filter is shown in green next to Display. B. If a Peer consists of multiple institutions, you can create a Corporate Group. Highlight each institution you want to include in your group (hold down the Ctrl key while selecting institutions) and type a name for your group. Click the Create Corp. Group button. You will then see the name of your group listed in the Corporate Groups box. These groups can be edited and/or deleted. C. Peers can be selected from both the Institution and Corporate Groups boxes, which will then be listed in the Peer Groups (Filtered Volumes) box. You can then highlight up to three institutions and designate them as Top Peers. Top Peers will be indicated with >> and Corporate Group Peers will be indicated with **. D. To save a peer group, make your peer selection(s) and type a name for your group. Click the Create Group button. You will then see the name of your group listed in the Saved Groups box. These groups can be edited and/or deleted. E. Once you have your Peer Groups selected, click Next to be taken to the Reports Selection screen.

19 Step 6: Reports Selection (Required) A. The sixth step is the Reports Selection screen. There are four Report Types Comparator, Top Peers, Top Peers Combined and All Peers. You can check as many of these boxes as you wish:

21 Step 7: My Reports The seventh step is the My Reports screen. After your reports are submitted, you will be taken here. You will see a list of all sessions, past and present. You can click the View Details link to view the reports in a particular session or click the Delete link to delete a particular session.
