1 The Cumulus version is a maintenance release comprising bug fixes, performance enhancements, and feature anhancements. This release improves all Cumulus products, including Workgroup, Enterprise, Web Client, and. With this release, Canto s Cumulus is now more efficient across all platforms for which it is developed. New Features Cumulus Automatic Tagging: New OEM Product Component This carefree package allows the usage of a ready-configured Automatic Tagging solution out of the box no need to worry about which Automatic Tagging provider to choose, or contract or licensing details, or configuration specifics. : Plugin for Modal Dialog A sample plugin has been added to the SDK, allowing customers to create a modal dialog. : Transparency Support now supports transparency in thumbnails and previews transparent parts of an image are pictured as chequered areas. : Audio Playback The now supports playback of audio formats such as mp3, wav, aiff, and ogg. New Video Cloud Provider: Screen9 Cumulus Video Cloud Connectors have been extended to support Screen9 as a new Video Cloud Provider. 2 A toggle switch has been added to the web interface to toggle between the display of all workflows, or active workflows only. Discontinued System Requirement Changes Fixed Issues Cumulus contains the following fixes: When a version of an asset its deleted in the Desktop Client, the entry in the version history field is properly removed now, even if a comment for that version contains linebreaks. When an asset is moved to an asset location that supports versioning, the version history field will be set properly now, and the clock icon will be shown in the thumbnail of the desktop client. Field mapping for movingimage video provider now properly supports unicode characters (e.g. German umlauts). Now the Record View Sets configuration in the Preferences dialog contains a button "Remove" to explicitly remove tables that are no longer available in any open catalog(s), e.g. deleted workflows. Fixed an issue that caused the CumulusTool to quit unexpectedly when an asset action was used with the Thumbnail Provider module configured. Copying a file that contains a resource fork to a location that does not support resource forks (e.g. a file system on a network share) no longer results in an error. The resource fork will be ignored in this case. Fixed an issue that caused the Cumulus Server to consume lots of memory when copying large files from a Vault to a client-side file system, e.g. on check-out. 3 Linux Fixed an issue that sometimes caused a memory leak at the client and server, when server-client asset transfer was used to access asset data. Fixed an issue that caused the CumulusTool to quit unexpectedly when cataloging Excel files in Excel 97 format. Fixed an issue that that prevented to preview some PDF files properly. Applying a metadata template via the InDesign Client with the fill modes "insert before" or "insert after" works properly now, even if the existing value begins or ends with the template value. InDesign no longer unexpectedly quits, or becomes unresponsive, when the Cumulus DocWatch plugin is installed and parses text boxes for links. Adding a file with to a shared collection that is restricted to certain users no longer erroneously removes the restriction. Now, and the native Client always show collections with a readable name instead of an internal GUID, even if there are collections with identical names, and you change the browser language. 4 RoboFlow Roboflow RoboFlow Scheduler, Web Server Console Deep links work properly now, even with SP-initiated SAML SSO. The HTML5 mode is enabled by default in the customization file, which allows the use of URLs without hashmark. Any old URLs (with hashmark) should be replaced with new URLs without hashmark if you are using SP-initiated SAML SSO. Session Timeout works properly now, even for SP initiated SAML authentication. Asset details view works properly now, even on narrow screens (less than 768 pixels width). When saving of a setup file fails (e.g. because it is locked), the setup file is nevertheless saved under a different name in the same folder. For Example, RoboflowParam.xml is saved as RoboflowParam.xml.save Thus, you can pick up the saved version and rename it to the correct name, if necessary. Renaming a file, or a folder action, now properly stores the result. The User Comment Thread is processed properly now. (open-table-record-table-field bug is fixed) When using the Web Server Console for configuring Scheduler Tasks, e.g. to export records, the uploaded XSL file is now stored permanently, so it can be used by the Scheduler. Fixed an issue that caused a wrong preview to be displayed when an older version of a file was promoted to be the current one. 5 Web Server Console Setting an embargo date for a Send Collection Link works properly now, even if the current date is chosen. Selecting a download option works properly now, even in IE 11. Dragging an file onto a container is properly prohibited now, if the user is not allowed to edit the Category field (via Preferences > Catalog Settings > Record Fields > Category > Field Properties > Field Values) Session Timeout works properly now, even for SP initiated SAML authentication. The method item.getid (); and item.getitemidentifier ().getitemid (); now return the same value before and after calling item.save () on a newly created item.
