1 Directions for Accessing BuckeyeLearn for Wexner Medical Center Online Course Requirements LOGGING IN You will use Single Sign-On to access BuckeyeLearn. You can log in with either your Name.# or your Medical Center Login ID. The password is the synced to the password portal. To access the BuckeyeLearn site:, click the link below: If you are new physician or advanced practice provider, you will receive an activation instructing you to activate your name.# account. This will be sent to the address that you supplied with your credentialing application. You must activate your name.# account before logging into BuckeyeLearn. If you did not receive an activation , contact the Help Desk at HELP. You may also want to forward your name.# account to your Medical Center acount to ensure you are receiving important notifications from BuckeyeLearn. This can be done through the Help Desk number listed above. DEFINITIONS/ NEW VOCABULARY Notice the Icons below that represent different types of learning objects in the system ILT (Instructor Led Training) Online Course - elearning or Computer-Based Learning (CBL) MTest indicates a test in BuckeyeLearn Curriculum (a group of related learning objects. They may contain online courses, ILTs ACCESSING ASSIGNED Log onto BuckeyeLearn. Click on My Transcript icon on the Welcome Page to see the list of current active assignments. Check your transcript first before self-enrolling in assignments.

3 TROUBLE LOADING THE CONTENT If you observe the content you have chosen never launches, then the pop-up blocker may be enabled in your Internet Explorer browser. You may see that you are stuck Loading title. One moment please.initially, you will see Internet Explorer blocked a pop-up from ohio-state.csod.com The steps listed below are for Internet Explorer 1. Click the Options for this site 2. Click Always Allow 3. Click the back button on the browser.is site button. 4. Then, re-launch the content. If you are using a browser other than Internet Explorer, check the Browser s Help feature for steps disable the pop-up blocker for the ohio-state.csod.com site. FIND There are 3 options for locating training 1. Browse Training: When you click the Browse Training Icon, you can view training using a variety of browsing filters. FIND 2.Use the calendar: When you click on the Calendar icon, you can see ILT training in a monthly view. You can filter your results here too. 3.Global Search: Search for a learning object by entering a search term in the Global

4 FIND Search box. You can also refine your search as well by clicking on the icon for the type of training that you need. PRINTING YOUR TRANSCRIPT In BuckeyeLearn, you can choose to print your Transcript from the Options menu of your Transcript page. There are a few ways to do it and several options for what to included (detail information, completed training only, etc.) EXTERNAL In BuckeyeLearn, you will be able to add external training such as conferences and training at alternate sites to your transcript. Your manager will need to approve your external training request but you can initiate the process by choosing Add External Training from the Options menu on your transcript. For example, if you completed ACLS through another training center, you could upload a copy of your certification.

5 OTHER HELPFUL HINTS/ ADDITIONAL RESOURCES Once you enroll in an instructor-led/in person session, you will get an confirmation with an Outlook appointment. If you un-enroll from a class, you will need to delete the appointment that was previously created. IHIS classes are scheduled by IHIS Administrators. You cannot enroll in these directly.
