2 H: Drive Mapping Directions Launch your desktop app. Click on the manila folder located on the desktop dock.

3 H: Drive Mapping Directions Scroll down to find the NETWORK icon and tap and hold until you get a little black square. Release once the black square appears.

4 H: Drive Mapping Directions Choose the MAP NETWORK DRIVE option on the menu.

5 H: Drive Mapping Directions Scroll down and choose the letter H: for the DRIVE. For the FOLDER, type in the following: \\adm-nas\home\username For example: \\adm-nas\home\dmoral14 Click on the FINISH button

6 H: Drive Mapping Directions You will be prompted to enter your network credentials. Type in the following: adm\username password

7 H: Drive Mapping Directions After entering your credentials, you will see all of the contents of your H: drive.

8 H: Drive Mapping Directions To locate your H: drive, launch your desktop app, click on the manila folder located on the desktop dock.

9 H: Drive Mapping Directions Click on THIS PC and you will see your mapped drive indicated by your district username.

14 J: Drive Mapping Directions You will be prompted to enter your network credentials. Type in the following: adm\username password You will only have access to the school you are currently working for. If you do not have access to the shared drive at your school, contact the SISD Help Desk at or

15 J: Drive Mapping Directions To locate your J: drive, launch your desktop app, click on the manila folder located on the desktop dock.

16 J: Drive Mapping Directions Click on THIS PC and you will see your mapped drive indicted by the school s shared drive address.

18 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver Type Citrix Receiver and then click INSTALL

19 Citrix Receiver Once it finishes installing, swipe up on your Start Screen to obtain a list of apps

20 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver Locate Citrix Receiver and tap and hold. You will receive a menu at the bottom and click on Pin to Start

21 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver This tile will pin your app on the start screen. Click it launch it.

22 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver Enter server address when prompted: desktop.sisd.net Click NEXT.

23 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver Log in with your SISD username & password SISD s domain is adm

24 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver After entering your domain, username and password, swipe from the bottom of the Citrix Receiver app screen to receive the menu. Click on the Add button.

25 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver After clicking on the ADD button, you will receive all of the available apps. (VDI) Click on your school app. This will connect to your virtual desktop. Click the arrow to go back.

26 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver Now click on the App you added to connect.

27 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver You will automatically be provided with the Metro look of Windows 7.

28 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver Click on the START button to obtain the START MENU

30 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver Click on H-Drive to obtain your saved files. You can also find the J-Drive here.

31 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver If you prefer the Classic look, click on the little white window icon at the top right corner to change to the Classic look.

32 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver In the Classic look, you will access your H: Drive just like you do on your teacher desktop computer.

33 Installing and Using Citrix Receiver Click on DISCONNECT to leave the virtual desktop. Close the Citrix Receiver App.

35 When downloading and using the Citrix Receiver on the Surface tablets, or any mobile device, know: The Citrix Receiver app is intended to provide access to the district network (H: and J: drives) from outside the district, not from within. Devices within the district should be connecting to the network rather than using the Citrix Receiver app.

36 When downloading and using the Citrix Receiver on the Surface tablets, or any mobile device, know: The Citrix Receiver session is the equivalent to using a VDI computer at a campus therefore, only one device should be logged onto a session either the session using the mobile device app or the VDI client at the campus.

37 When downloading and using the Citrix Receiver on the Surface tablets, or any mobile device, know: Users should log off of a session on one device before logging onto a session on a second device. Otherwise, they run the risk of rendering their profile and/or files useless.

38 What is OneDrive? Free online storage of documents, which is tied into your Microsoft Account Files saved on your OneDrive can be accessed from any laptop, desktop tablet or even your cell phone. With OneDrive there is no more need for flash drive or sharing files and documents via . Storage of up to 7GB

39 Using and Accessing OneDrive Log on to your using your mysisd.net account. Click on Web-

40 Using and Accessing OneDrive Click on the OneDrive option. This will take you to yet another file management option. Sometimes ONEDRIVE is hidden under the ellipses ( )

41 Using and Accessing OneDrive You are now at your OneDrive and ready to create a new document.

42 Using OneDrive These are documents which can be created using your OneDrive. Documents created can then be shared with students and colleagues via OneDrive. Documents saved on your OneDrive can be accessed from any device (laptop, desktop or tablet) by logging on at or your my.sisd.net webmail.
