3 Account Help How do I register in the Partner First Portal? All new users in the HP University must first register in the HP Partner First Portal. 1. Enter Partner First Portal and click New user? Register here. 2. Fill in the required information and Submit. 3. Allow up to 3 days for your company s Partner Portal Administrator to approve your registration. 4. After approval, you will receive an (be sure to check junk/spam mailboxes just in case) confirming your account activation. 5. Follow the instructions to sign in to the portal. Tip: Use Get Support to our support team with additional questions. 3

4 Account Help How do I find my HP Learner ID? About your HP Learner ID The HP Learner ID is your key to HP University certifications and training. This ID is your unique identifier and is required to register for certification exams and to participate in other aspects of the program. Note: The HP Learner ID is unique to HP and is different from the Candidate ID that Pearson VUE uses for certification exams. Retrieving your learner ID 1. Sign in to the HP Partner First Portal. 2. About your HP Passport User ID The HP Passport User ID is what you use to log in to the Partner First Portal and all related sites, such as the HP University and Partner First Learning Center. Retrieving your HP Passport User ID If you forgot your user ID for the HP Partner First Portal, we can look it up for you. 1. Visit the Partner First Portal. 2. Click Forgot User ID. 3. Enter the address you used to register with the Partner First Portal. 4. Click Look Up User ID. 5. Your User ID will appear. 6. Type your current password. 7. If you don t remember your password, click Forgot Password. 8. Click Sign In. 5

6 Account Help How do I reset my password? If you forgot your password for the HP Partner First Portal, we can reset it for you. 1. Visit the Partner First Portal. 2. Click Forgot Password. 3. Enter the address you used to sign up with the Partner First Portal. 4. If the you entered is found, you will receive an (be sure to check junk/spam mailboxes) with a link to reset your password. Tip: Use Get Support to our support team with additional questions. 6

7 Account Help How do I register with Pearson VUE? Registering with Pearson VUE is the first step in purchasing a training. Note: Be sure to have your HP Learner ID ready for when you register. If you do not know your HP Learner ID, see How do I find my HP Learner ID?. 1. Visit 2. On the right, click. 3. Review the Privacy Policy that pops up. 4. If you agree, check the box and click Yes, I agree to the policies. 5. Under Enter Personal Information > New users, please sign up for a web account, Select 6. If you received the notification shown above, you should have received an (be sure to check spam/junk folders) from Pearson VUE that will help you reset your password and access your account. 2. If you did not receive an or are still having problems, navigate to Pearson VUE Customer Service. 3. Click to launch Pearson VUE Live Chat, where a support expert will help you remove your account restrictions. 4. If Chat is Offline, try calling Pearson VUE. Access the HP University through the Partner First Portal. 1. Sign in to the Partner First Portal. If you have trouble doing so, try Account Help. 2. Hover over the Training & Certification tab. 3. (Classroom/Virtual Classroom) About finding a sales skills course and signing up Scheduling your classroom or virtual classroom sales skills course involves coordinating with HP to find a convenient date, location, and other details. Most of these details will be solidified with your HP point of contact via or phone. 1. Navigate to: Partner First Portal > Training & Certifications > HP University. If you have trouble doing so, see How do I access the HP University?. 2. Click the Sales Skills tab. 3. Scroll down to find all available sales skills courses. 4. To begin the process of signing up, find the course you would like to take and click. 6. A pop-up appears asking your permission to open an template > Allow. 7. The HP University Team will reach out to you in 3 business days to collect more information regarding the session you are interested in. 9. Coordinate with your HP contact regarding location preferences, timing, venue, and other details. 10. Certification courses and self-paced sales skills trainings are free. Note: Before purchasing a sales skills course, you need to sign up. For more information, see How do I sign up for a sales skills course?. There are multiple available payment methods. To pay by Credit Card or PayPal, follow the process below. To pay via Wire Transfer (Invoice), click here. 1. After signing up for a session and confirming details with your HP contact, your contact will share with you a payment link. Use the link to navigate to Pearson VUE. A site similar to the one shown below will appear. 2. Select your country and quantity > Click > A window appears > Click to go to your cart. 3. You will then receive a confirmation via that the wire transfer option is activated for your account. 4. Once this option is activated, you can make a purchase by following steps 1 to 9 from the previous pages. 5. Click the title of the course that you would like to verify your registration for. 5. The course opens in a new tab (Disable your pop-up blocker if the window does not appear. A public resource on how to do so can be found here. 6. If you see, you are not yet registered for the course. Click Enroll to register. 7. Once you are enrolled, scroll down and click to launch the course. 27 Cancelling a course How do I reschedule or cancel my classroom/virtual classroom sales skills course? Note: Please review the HP University Cancellation Policy for detailed information on HP s policy for rescheduling or cancelling a course. 1. Reach out to your HP contact via or phone with your request to reschedule or cancel as soon as possible. 2. HP will respond within 3 business days and work with you to accommodate your request. 3. If your request to reschedule or cancel is received less than a month in advance of your scheduled session, you may be at risk of only receiving a partial refund. Once you apply your Voucher Code, the exam fee listed will reduce to $0 (the exam cost is covered by the voucher you purchased). Taking your exam 1. If you need help during the exam, click in the bottom left. 7. Before you end your exam, be sure to review your answers using the buttons in the bottom left of the final exam page. 8. 39 Reviewing and printing certifications How do I review my transcript? 1. Navigate to your SABA Learning Center Profile > Sign In using your HP Passport User ID. If you have trouble doing so, see How do I find my user ID? 2. Under Learning & Certifications, Click. 3. Scroll down to view your completed exam/related certifications. 4. To print a certification, click. Note: It may take up to 4 business days for recently completed courses, certifications, and exams to appear on the HP Partner First Portal and SABA Learning Center. 39

Note: A valid score report which could be used as a proof of your successfully passed exam should contain your first and last name, Exam ID, Exam Date, and Exam Score. Navigate to your Partner First Learning Center Profile and log in using your HP Passport/User ID. If you have trouble, see How do I find my User ID? or How do I reset my password? 2. 44 Other Useful Information HP University Cancellation Policy Note: For information on how to reschedule or cancel your session, see How do I reschedule or cancel my scheduled sales skills course? TERMS AND CONDITIONS RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL You may request to reschedule or cancel your attendance at a Classroom or Virtual Classroom session in the time leading up to your scheduled session. Requests to reschedule or cancel must be sent via to partner.training@hp.com or your HP contact. In order to receive a full refund for your session, not including transaction fees, HP must receive your request to reschedule or cancel at least 28 calendar days in advance of your session. In order to receive a 50% refund for your session, not including transaction fees, HP must receive your request to reschedule or cancel between 28 and 17 calendar days in advance of your session. If HP receives your request to reschedule or cancel less than 17 days in advance of the session, no refund will be issued. HP reserves the right to reschedule a Classroom or Virtual Classroom session under any circumstances if necessary. If HP cancels your scheduled course, you can choose to work with us to reschedule your session or receive a full refund. HP is not responsible for travel, lodging or other expenses/change fees incurred. In the event that a session must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond your control or HP s control (e.g. weather, natural disaster, etc.), the cancellation fee will be waived and we will work to reschedule the session. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT 44 You will be officially registered for a session when you receive a confirmation receipt via from HP. To confirm your session registration, HP must receive full payment at least 28 calendar days in advance of your session. If you schedule your session within the 28-day window, your session is only confirmed once full payment is received by HP. If HP does not receive full payment for a session within these time restrictions, the session will only be held after previous consultation and agreement with HP.
