10 mykvh: Data Usage Alerts Two types of alerts: Allowance alerts: Sent whenever usage reaches a selected percentage of monthly allowance Overage alerts: Sent whenever usage exceeds monthly allowance by the entered amount, then again at every increment of that amount Notification via and/or SMS text message Customer enters the desired address(es) and phone number(s) Triggered alerts also listed on Vessel Details page

11 mykvh: Crew Data Allocations Allows customer to control access to the Internet Users need to enter their user name and password Feature only available to V-IP systems (requires ICM or CommBox-ACU) 3 steps to setup 1. Set up the ICM with one of the crew network configurations 2. Set up allocation profiles, which establish daily, weekly, or monthly data limits 3. Set up user names/passwords and assign each user to a profile Make sure allocations total is under monthly allowance

12 mykvh: Crew Access Users who connect to the Crew LAN must log in When user consumes allotted MBs for current time period, access is denied until next period begins

13 mykvh: Crew Network Configurations 4 crew configuration options to choose from One or more Ethernet ports designated Crew LAN ICM s Wi-Fi (if turned on) is also part of Crew LAN Data allocations only enforced on Crew LAN Ops LAN is unrestricted WAN Group used for static IP

14 mykvh: Network Configurations Other network configurations: Dual Dome (Primary and Secondary) Legacy (old V3 or V7 models only) Standard (unrestricted access, default) Static IP Network configuration can still be changed at the ICM s web interface Go to Settings > Network Settings Wi-Fi settings The ICM s built-in WAP is turned off by default whenever you change network configuration You can turn on the Wi-Fi at mykvh or at the ICM s web interface Don t forget to apply security

16 New System Test Site Use this new URL to test a TracPhone V-IP system Upon installation During troubleshooting Does not require account activation Replaces This URL will be phased out

17 Backup GPS ICM can now accept an external GPS input NMEA 0183 message: $--RMC Install a NMEA data multiplexer if you need to connect two devices to the ICM (e.g., Actisense NDC-4) Used if antenna s internal GPS fails ICM web interface now indicates source of position data
