3 Revision 1 1 Revision INFORMATION This revision applies to the manual "MOVIPRO ADC with PROFINET interface", part number , edition 04/2012. The following chapter of the manual "MOVIPRO ADC with PROFINET interface" are completely replaced by this revision: Chapter "Module "SEW Controller" The following chapter amends chapter 9 "Operation" of the manual "MOVIPRO ADC with PROFINET interface": Chapter "Important notes" (page 10) Revision MOVIPRO ADC with PROFINET Interface 3

4 2 I 0 "SEW Controller" Module MOVIPRO control word 2 "SEW Controller" Module The "SEW Controller" module is always available with MOVIPRO ADC and cannot be deleted. The module occupies two process data words and provides general device information. In the event of a unit replacement, the saved data is automatically loaded from the SD memory card to the new MOVIPRO unit. 3 5 Reserved 0 = Reserved 6 System restart Irrespective of an error or the status of the communication and control unit "PFH-..", a changeover of this bit causes a system restart Reserved 0 = Reserved 2.2 MOVIPRO status word The following figure shows the assignment of the MOVIPRO status word: Master MOVIPRO 0: Maintenance switch (mains OFF) 1: Toggle 2, 3: Reserved = 0 4: Dataset available 5: Auto-restore configured 6: MOVIPRO warning 7: MOVIPRO error 8 15: Unit status/warning/error number Bits 8 15 are assigned depending on the value of bits 6 and 7 according to the following table: Bit 6 Bit 7 Assignment of bits MOVIPRO unit status 1 0 MOVIPRO warning 0 1 MOVIPRO error The following table shows the diagnostic information of MOVIPRO that is set up for evaluation in the higher-level PLC application. The signals are transferred to the controller via parameters and, if necessary, via the process data channel. Bit Diagnostic name via bus 0 Maintenance switch (mains OFF) Function and coding Maintenance switch (mains OFF) 1 = Maintenance switch activated (mains off) 0 = OK (not activated) 1 Toggle The toggle bit changes between "0" and "1". The default is 100 ms. The toggle bit shows the correct function of the internal communication and control unit. If the toggle bit fails (no edge change), make sure that the connected drive is switched off via appropriate measures. Appropriate measures are, for example: Disconnection Activate safe stop 2 3 Reserved 0 = Reserved 4 Dataset available 5 Auto-restore configured 6 MOVIPRO warning 7 MOVIPRO error Data are present on the SD memory card and they are identical with those of MOVIPRO. Automatic unit replacement is configured. In the event of a unit replacement, the saved data is automatically downloaded from the SD memory card to the new MOVIPRO unit. 10 3 Important Information 3 Important Information WARNING Risk of crushing if the drive keeps running unintentionally. The internal bus timeout mechanism of the power section has been implemented on telegram level. All telegram types cause a restart of the timeout mechanism. This includes, for example, read or write parameter services that are used by the following devices/applications: MOVITOOLS MotionStudio Visualization software Control and diagnostics devices Control and diagnostics software If the IEC program stops (MOVI-PLC, CCU), the process data communication between the internal communication and control unit and the internal power section is interrupted. Thus, the drive can keep running with the last valid process data. A stop of the IEC program can be triggered by the following actions: In MOVITOOLS MotionStudio in the parameter tree "Program execution = stop" In the PLC Editor [Online] > [Stop] Severe or fatal injuries.
