10 HIGHLIGHT: PROGRAM Baseline 2013: 117 Members implementing Status 2014: In January & February members who hadn t renewed their membership yet had started implementing. Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Non-implementing-Actual Implementing-Actual Total
11 HIGHLIGHT: PROGRAM 163 implementing (actively using the Member Portal) members [out of these 27 are signatories, which have not paid their membership fees] 136 companies or 84% of these implementing members have a policy 124 companies or 77% conducted training for staff on child protection 124 companies or 77% have clause with partners or supply chain 129 companies or 79% give information to travelers 121 companies or 75% work with stakeholders 100 companies or 24% submitted their 2014 annual report to The Code As of today 100 members have reported, and more ones do every day (deadline extended to early March) based on the ones that have been reviewed, 3 companies have reported 9 cases of child sexual exploitation/child protection to authorities in 2014.

14 HIGHLIGHT: IMPLEMENTATION TODAY (Feb 16 th 2015) From 51 to 52 countries: 14 businesses in Myanmar started implementing staff trained through The Code e-learning, more than through means, internal to the companies. 14

16 HIGHLIGHT: PROGRAM MYANMAR In regards to 2014, following elements can be stated: - Situation of boom in tourism foreseen from 2 millions in 2013 to 7 millions in Prevention right from the start, collaboration with Ministry of tourism and Tourism federation and Unicef. - High profile event May 2014 (95 participants) first members joined (14 new members have joined and 9 have reported so far for 2014). - July and August, first workshop and trainings 267 tourism professionals sensitised to the issue. - 9 members have now joined in Thailand, along with the 16 MNC operating as well in this country. - Sector wide impact assessment published by Danish Institute highlighting importance of child protection
17 HIGHLIGHT: PROGRAM THAILAND In regards to 2014, following elements can be stated: - 10 members have now joined in Thailand, along with the 16 MNC operating as well in this country. - Several workshops and trainings during 2014in Pattaya, Phuket. - Connexion with Child safe tourism campaign in Thai (in addition other Asian languages of the region). The Code has taken over the steering of the campaign in November Effort foreseen to be continued in 2015

23 HIGHLIGHT: SECRETARIAT / LCR RELATIONS In 2014, following elements can be stated: - Need for new framework, grounded on 2014 agreement to be still implemented. - LCR membership fees to be applied in Conclusion of Board and LCR Meeting March 2 nd /3 rd Secretariat/LCR roles and responsibilities evaluated re-worked - Enhance value proposition of multi-stakeholder setup - Highlight best practice examples of child protection impacts - Work on new membership fee agreement to be approved in fall in an online consultation
