2 Introduction The only ICT Event Hosted by the MIIT PT Expo China 2017 took place on Sep 27-30, 2017 at China National Convention Center in Beijing. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the People s Republic of China and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, organized by China National Postal and Telecommunications Appliances Corporation and China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation. PT Expo China 2017 focused on Digital Power Flourishing, showcasing the latest process and achievements of the digital economy and how ICTs facilitate the digital transformation of the society on a widespread, efficient network. Over 400 companies and organizations from 12 countries and regions attended PT Expo China 2017, including those from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, the Taiwan region, Finland, Germany, Japan, Korea (Republic of), Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States. 8 The Highlight The Aeroterrestrial Emergency Rescue Zone The Aero-terrestrial Emergency Rescue Zone comprehensively displayed the emergency rescue communication system, emergency communication transmission equipment, emergency deployment and control platform, and so on. In this zone, Yingtan City, a leading practice of smart city, along with China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, ZTE, HUAWEI, Fiberhome, Qualcomm, Ericsson and Zhutong Information Technology demonstrated their advanced NB-IoT ecosystem and smart city related deployment, technologies and applications Smart City Zone NB-IoT Ecosystem

9 The Highlight Digital Health International Zone Companies from the United States and Europe showcased cutting-edge digital health technologies and products such as medical health big data, medical product labeling and identification. Intelligent Terminal Zone The zone created an immersive environment for visitors to experience the most cuttingedge smart devices.

13 Our on-site survey shows that 82% of exhibitors were satisfied ; 88.5% of domestic exhibitors and 75% of international exhibitors will or may attend the event next year. 91% of visitors were satisfied ; 93% of domestic visitors and 88% of international visitors will or may attend the event next year. The average length of stay was 13 hours; 45% of domestic visitors achieved initial intent of cooperation with the exhibitors.

19 5G Innovation Summit G Innovation Summit 2017 invited IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group, mobile operators, network equipment providers, and chip makers to the forum. The progress of China s national 5G trial Step 2 was announced at the forum, as well as the research results of the 5G technology. The Belt and Road ICT Enterprise Foreign Investment & Trade Fair Echoing to the Belt and Road Initiative, the fair targeted to promote foreign investment and international market of Chinese ICT enterprises. Officials from International Division of MIIT and embassies in Beijing were invited to discuss the policies and trading environments with Chinese companies.
