2 About Cyber Dialogue The Cyber Dialogue conference convenes an influential mix of global leaders from government, civil society, academia and private enterprise to participate in a series of facilitated public plenary conversations and working groups around cyberspace security and governance. It is a by-invitation only event and organized as a Davos-style facilitated conversation. The aim of the conference is to identify where accountability gaps exist, or where policy adjustments might be advocated, on the basis of real case studies and empirical evidence. We also hope that the conference will help contribute to a broader understanding of cyberspace strategy as a whole for stakeholders from national security, civil society and private sector communities. The Cyber Dialogue conference has become a premier annual event for those interested in Internet governance, security and human rights issues and provides an excellent opportunity to showcase companies and products. 4 About THE Canada Centre for Global Security Studies The Canada Centre for Global Security Studies (Canada Centre) is a multidisciplinary research centre based at the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto. Our mission is to conduct advanced research and policy development in non-traditional global security areas including: Arctic security Cyber security Global security covering areas such as Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Asia, and the Americas We provide a platform that brings together academia, government, the private sector, and civil society in a shared dialogue.
