3 InterSymp th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SYSTEMS RESEARCH, INFORMATICS AND CYBERNETICS (July 28-August 2, 2003, Markgraf-Ludwig Gymnasium, Baden-Baden, Germany) FOCUS SYMPOSIUM ON COLLABORATIVE DECISION-SUPPORT SYSTEMS (July 29) Travel Information: Baden-Baden is a beautiful spa-resort town and convention centre located in the middle of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) in Germany. It can be reached in two hours by train from Frankfurt or Stuttgart. The best way to travel to the Conference site is to fly first to Frankfurt (or Stuttgart) airport and then to take a train or bus to Baden-Baden. Those traveling by car can reach Baden-Baden through Hwy (Autobahn) A5 (Frankfurt-Basel) or Hwy A8 (Stuttgart-Karlsruhe). The Conference will be held at the Markgraf-Ludwig Gymnasium in Baden-Baden. The Conference site can be easily reached from Baden-Baden railway station by city bus travelling to Augustaplatz, or by taxi. Prices for accommodation range between 40 and 80 US dollars per day, depending on hotel category and the type of occupancy (single, double, etc.). Participants should make hotel reservation in writing, indicating hotel category, type of occupancy and length of intended stay. The hotel reservation should be made as soon as possible at one of the hotels listed on the back of this page. Important Message: It is recommended to make your flight and hotel reservations as soon as possible. August is a very popular vacation month in Europe and flight/hotel reservations may not be easy to obtain unless booked well in advance.
