2 What is this presention is about Some iinitiatives on ICTs for development The African Digital Agenda AISI - The African Stakeholders Network (ASN) Africa s Participation to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS): From Bamako to Tunis via Geneva 2

3 the African digital challenge to address the Continent most pressing development challenges to create the adequate environment for a better integration of the region to improve economic performances and ensure linkages with the global economy to create welfare for Africa s people 3
