4 4/24 Installing on Linux The Download the tarball, extract the contents and run zotero from that directory to start. For Ubuntu, the tarball includes a.desktop file that can be used to add to the launcher. Move the extracted directory to a location of your choice (e.g., /opt/zotero), run the set launcher icon script to update the.desktop file for that location, and symlink zotero.desktop into /.local/share/applications/ (e.g., ln -s /opt/zotero/zotero.desktop /.local/share/applications/zotero.desktop). should then appear in your launcher.

6 6/24 Finding the Better BibTeX Plugin The You can find info on Better BibTeX for plugin at: The link for downloading and installation instructions is: https: //retorque.re/zotero-better-bibtex/installation/ This will install a file called zotero-better-bibtex-(version number).xpi on your hard drive.

Under the Citation Keys tab set Quick Copy Format to LaTeX to drag and drop inline L A TEXcitation commands into your LaTeX editor. Set the LaTeX command field to cite or citep or autocite, depending on which citation command you use.
