2 The isit is the most versatile software available. As with all software, there is a learning curve. But we guarantee in 10 minutes you will be a true professional. Before we discuss all of the settings, the first thing you need to do, if you are designing your own custom screens and layouts, is download our template files from our website. You can use any graphics editing program you want. SCREEN images are saved as JPG files set at 1024x768 (for horizontal) or 768x1024 (for vertical) at 72dpi. LAYOUT images are saved as JPG if using as a background or transparent PNG if using as an overlay. Resolution is to be 1200x1800 at 250dpi for 4x6 s AND 1500x2100 at 250dpi for 5x7 s. Then them to your ipad PRIOR to starting the app since you will be selecting photos when you create your events. You need to have your designs saved in the photo library ahead of time. We will go over that in a moment.

3 1 Now let s get into creating an event. Step 1. Enter an Event Name and an Event Date. 3 Step 2. If you want to use the rear camera turn this slider on. Using the rear camera disables GIF, Green Screen, Video and the special effects (i.e. Sepia). This is because the rear camera has video and the effects included since you are manually taking photos you can press what buttons you want to use. Step 3. Turn the and Video sliders On or Off. TIMER. You can manually set the time between photo shots in the photo timer box. Keeping it 0 makes the default countdown 4 seconds with a female voice. If you are doing video messaging you can set the allowed time guests can record for. Keeping it 0 makes it unlimited time. If you want the guests to be able to themselves a copy of the photo booth images keep the slider ON. If you want the guests to be able to record a video message for your client then keep the Video slider ON. Again. This applies to the front camera only. 2 TIMER

4 Step 4. Select the color effects you want the guests to be able to choose. Color is always available but you can let the guests choose from other options. You can turn any one of these options on or off. It s up to you. Again. These are not available with the rear camera. They will all be available by default if you use the rear camera. 4

5 Step 5. Turn Animated GIF on or off. If you ARE doing an Animated GIF event you will enter the number of photos the guests can take and the duration (in seconds) of how long that animation lasts. Animated GIF allows guests to take a predetermined number of photos, then those photos get placed into an animated clip which can be ed and then viewed in a web browser or in an . If you are doing an animated gif then the photo booth layouts and printing WILL NOT work. Animated GIF is a separate kind of booth option. If you want a traditional photo booth TURN OFF the animated gif slider. NOTE: Animated GIF can work with Green Screen too. If you want to do a Green Screen Animated GIF follow the green screen instructions in a few steps from now. 5

6 Step 6. Select a layout. You can choose from eight 5x7 or eight 4x6 predesigned templates OR you can design your own layout (we will go over that in the next step). 6 If you are using our predesigned templates read further. If not, skip to the next page. After you select the layout you will choose one of two options: The first (step 7) is to use our font and background design and select a color for the font, background, and border. The second (step 8) is to use our template files, which can be downloaded from our website, and design your own background image or overlay. Simply press the Layout Background button and select the design you created. Then turn the overlay slider on if you designed the image to go ON TOP of the photos. If you design an overlay you MUST make sure it is saved as a transparent PNG file. 8 7

7 Step 9. Choose the Custom Layout thumbnail (if you are designing your OWN layout). 9 Step 10. In the Customizing Options press on Layout to open the Layout Creator (you ll see in the next step). THIS IS IMPORTANT If you are designing your own layout and NOT any of our predesigned ones you need to follow this step FIRST. Using any editing program, design a 4x6 at 1200x1800px at 250dpi or a 5x7 at 1500x2100px at 250dpi. Then that design to your ipad and save it to your camera roll. 10

8 The Custom Layout Creator is easy to use. Basically you ve already pre-created the actual design. Now all we have to do is put the design in the creator and add the photo boxes where they are supposed to go. Before we do that there is something you ll need to do first. If you are doing a Split Layout where the print is cut in half you will leave the Split Layout slider ON. If you are doing a full print then turn it OFF. The next step (step 11) is to select either 4x6 or 5x7. 11

9 The next step (step 11) is to add the design that you ve created into the creator TEMPORARILY To do this simply press the BACKGROUND button and you will see the design appear in the layout. The next step (step 12) is to add photo boxes and align them with your design. To do this simply press the ADD PHOTO button. Now remember. If you are NOT doing a split layout you ll need to turn that slider off. 11

10 As you can see we have added photos and placed them where they belong in the layout. When you are happy with the placement hit DONE (step 13). But here are some other steps. Step 14. You can scale the image by pressing the plus or minus sign. Step 15. You can rotate the image by pressing the plus or minus sign OR entering a value in manually. Step 16. You can move the image left and right or up and down by pressing the plus or minus sign. Step 17. You can round the corners of the photos by pressing the plus or minus sign. Step 18. You can reset the layout one photo at a time by pressing the reset layout button. Step 19. If you double tap inside the design you can enlarge it. If you hit reset size it will go back to normal. Step 20. If you select a photo box and hit bring to front then that photo will be on top of the other one (if your photos overlap in the design). Step 21. You can yourself a copy of the design if you would like to. YOU CAN ALSO COPY AND PASTE THE SETTINGS OF ONE BOX TO ANOTHER. TO DO THIS SIMPLY DOUBLE TAP AND HOLD THE IMAGE YOU WANT TO COPY THEN CLICK COPY. THEN DOUBLE TAP AND HOLD THE IMAGE YOU WANT TO PASTE AND CLICK PASTE

11 Step 22. When you pressed Done in the layout creator ONLY the placement of the photos was saved NOT the design you created. You will now select the background image. Step 23. You will turn the slider off if the design you created is going BEHIND the photos or you will turn it on if it is going on TOP of the photos. Remember you need to have saved that design as a transparent PNG file if you designed an overlay or a JPG if you designed a background

12 Step 24. If you are doing a green screen (whether you are doing an animated gif, or you designed you own layout, or you are using our predesigned one). You will turn the Green Screen slider on. If you are not doing green screen then turn the slider off. Step 25. You will then press the background button to select the green screen background. 24 THIS IS IMPORTANT You still have to select a layout background or overlay for the actual layout itself. 25

13 Step 29. You can design custom screens for every section of the photo booth. For example, a custom welcome screen with the client s names. 30 If you would like to do this simply download our template files and design each screen and then it to your ipad as with all other custom designs. When you press on the Screens in the Customizing Options you will see a popup (step 30). Select an image for each screen. You can also just design a welcome screen and use the default design for the rest of the screens. You will also select a font color for the countdown clock and the remaining photos by pressing on font color (step 31)

14 Step 32. You can custom create an for your events. This is the same for every event so make it a general If you would like to do this simply press on the button in the Customizing Options screen. 34 You will see a popup (step 33). Enter a custom Subject and Message for the . You can use HTML coding to make a more elegant . (step 34). When you are finished press Done. 32

15 Ahh. We are done. Almost. At this point all of the information needed for your event has been entered. Your event name, slider, video slider, color effects, layout design, etc. The final step (step 35) is to press Save Event. So now you are done. The event is saved and you are ready to go. But there is one more thing that you can do. And that is the Export Event feature (step 36). This feature is not necessary but it is nice because it allows you to set up an event on one ipad then export ALL the data in one file to another ipad. So now, if you have two booths going at the same event you don t have to enter the information in twice. You can also purchase an event design from us where you provide us with all the information about the event and we design it for you. Then all you have to do is import one file and you are set for the event

16 So after you hit Export Event you will it to whoever you want. Then in the you will press on the attached file (step 37) then press on Open in isit (step 38)

17 That s all folks Following these instructions may seem like a lot. But honestly it isn t difficult. That was the concept behind the isit. Simple. Professional. Customizable.
