2 3 IN-SERVICE REQUIREMENTS ADVERTISING & MARKETING Partners that use affiliate marketers are respnsible fr ensuring that prmtins are cmpliant, regardless f whether this activity is sub-cntracted, and active mnitring must be part f the Partners wn nging cmpliance prcesses. Clear expectatins must be placed n affiliate marketers arund cmpliance and Partners must btain a clear cmmitment t this end as part f any cntract signed. INFOMEDIA strngly recmmends and may require Partners t engage the services f an independent Cmpliance Mnitring rganizatin, and can prvide details f such rganizatins available in the regin. Expectatins include (but are nt limited t): Clear descriptin f the service; Any marketing be directly related t the PRS ffering i.e. nt unrelated r misleading; Affiliates must nt engage in any misleading practices. All prmtinal materials and placement must meet the requirements f the Cultural Plicy (abve). 1.1 PROHIBITED MARKETING PRACTISES The fllwing practices are nt permitted by a Merchant r their affiliate marketer: Prmting prducts and services in a misleading manner; Directly targeting an audience under the age f 18; Using self-initiating pp-ups r pp-unders fr advertising cpy r landing pages; Using self-clicking advertising; Prmting unrelated cntent based n ppular search terms amng natural search results; Redirecting users t unrelated third party websites t prmte unrelated cntent; Hijacking r autmating clicks t redirect users t unrelated third party websites t prmte unrelated cntent; Autmating clicks r therwise prmting false psitive inputs n any Call t Actin that leads t the end user being signed up t a service; Psting false URL links n scial netwrking websites t mislead users; Misleading users int liking webpages they did nt intend t like; Inserting malicius cde within advertisements; Sending deceptive spam; Entice users t nn-existent cntent via scial netwrk liking ; Sending advertisements that might be perceived as fficial ntificatins; Misleading users int cmpleting PRS ffers t unlck cntent; Use f Malicius Sftware r Trjans t lck users internet brwsers until payment is made r subscriptins jined in rder t unlck brwsers. It is recmmended that Merchants analyse their traffic n an nging basis, respnding t any abnrmal activity and gaining an understanding f hw cnsumers arrive at a prmtin, and mnitr and audit their affiliate marketing peridically regardless f activity t ensure

3 that is bth effective and cmpliant. INFOMEDIA may request evidence f these activities as part f ur nging cmpliance checks. Fr the avidance f dubt, Merchants must, n request by INFOMEDIA, be able t prvide full details f all advertising including cpies f all adverts tgether with URLs and advertising flws/lgs t shw hw any individual end user has signed up t a service. 1.2 NON-EXPLOITATION OF CUSTOMERS Marketing cmmunicatins shall nt explit lack f knwledge r understanding by Cnsumers, nr take advantage f any vulnerable grups r individuals. 1.3 CARRIER LOGOS Carrier lgs, names and/r any branding items shall nt be used withut prir cnsent. 1.4 ADVERTISING BANNERS & OTHER COPY Advertising cpy must: Include the name f the service, r a clear descriptin fr it Be directly related t the service being advertised and the creative n the landing page Vdafne Only: Display the pricing, frequency and free perid Advertisements displaying an activatin MO cde must als include: Full terms & cnditins (r link t) Exit instructins (via STOP message) Custmer Supprt details Disclaimer: Msg& Data Rates May Apply All advertising cpy must be apprved by INFOMEDIA befre publicatin.

The merchant shuld nt save the custmer request t try again at a later time. If the subscriptin fails users shuld be shwn a failure page which infrms them that their subscriptin has been unsuccessful.
