1 Blue & You Fitness Challenge Group Setup Guide Introduction An interested company or organization must first designate a person to act as the group administrator. The administrator has access to web pages, tools and reports for the group that are not accessible to regular participants. This person is responsible for maintaining an accurate online record of who is participating from their group. Request to Participate The designated Group Administrator completes the online Group Request Form to begin the setup process. The Blue & You Fitness Challenge Administrator establishes the group framework and s the Group Administrator instructions for completing the setup, including a group access code. 1

2 Setup by Group Administrator The Group Administrator logs into the Blue & You Fitness Challenge web site to complete the group setup. From the Activity Log page, click on the Group Admin link to access the Group Administrator Home page, and then click on # 2, Group Configuration. Group Configuration The Group Administrator completes the group setup on the configuration page. This includes the following: Listing a Help Name, Phone # and at the group for your participants. This is who your participants will contact with questions about the contest. Be sure to select Save when completed. Setting up T-Shirt Sizes, if applicable. Some groups choose to give away shirts or other prizes during or after the contest, for recognition or as a reward. The Administrator establishes a t-shirt size list or list of other prizes and participants select from the list during registration or any time during the contest. Click on Create Shirt Size Values to begin. Setting up Locations, if applicable. This allows the Group Administrator to establish a drop down list of locations or teams. Participants choose from the list during individual registration. Click on Create Location Values to begin. 2

3 Group Configuration Page (continued) Shirt and Location Tools Sizes and locations are entered here and then added to the list. Click on Save the List when the list is complete. Activate the Shirt and Location Selector functions by clicking on Yes on the main Group Configuration page. Activation can occur any time during the contest. If activated later, individuals can make the selection by accessing their individual profile. Use the Up and Down buttons to change the order of the list, and Remove to delete an entry. Allow Registration Once the Group Configuration is complete, click on #3, Allow Registration on the Group Administrator Home page. This sets the system to allow individual registration for your group participants. You must provide them with the Group Code in order to register. 3

Three functions are available from this page: Change Individuals Status The Group Administrator uses this function to deactivate participants who have left employment or the organization.

4 Individual Functions The Group Administrator has access to the Individual Functions (#4 on the Group Admin Home page) tools. These tools help the Administrator maintain an accurate online record of participants and for assisting those participating. Three functions are available from this page: Change Individuals Status The Group Administrator uses this function to deactivate participants who have left employment or the organization. Changing the status to Terminated removes a participant from the contest. Access Individuals Activity Log This function allows the Administrator direct access to a specific participants activity log. Reset Individuals Password Forgotten passwords can be reset by the Group Administrator. Participants can use the new password to access their Profile and change passwords to one easily remembered. The link to the Profile is on the participants Activity Log page. Individual Registration The Group Administrator provides their participants with the group code needed to access individual registration. (Step 3 on the Fitness Challenge Home page).

All participants must be at least age 18. Participants complete a simple online Registration Form, creating a Login ID and Password for access to their individual Activity Log. The individual Activity Log is where participants enter their own exercise information. By using an easy calendar tool, participants enter the date and type of exercise. A log of each day exercised forms at bottom of the page. Individual progress can be observed on the map. For fun, the location and exercise messages change with each new checkpoint. 5
