(Have individual students identify the items on the vocab cards, point at an item and have someone say the word, mix up the cards and have student re-place them by the objects, etc.) Note: There are two power button cards in each set - one for the monitor power button and one for the system unit power button. PowerPoint: Start PowerPoint with students Teach different types of computers - ask students if any of them have a computer. What type? Identify the power button again and practice turning computers on and off

What did you use a computer for? Computer vocabulary review: Pass out a green vocabulary card set to each student. Review all of the words together at least 2 or 3 times as a class. You can do this in different ways each time. (Match words and objects as a class, show the word and have students place their card by the correct object, have individual students identify the items on the vocab cards, point at an item and have someone say the word, mix up the cards and have student re-place them by the objects, etc.) Note: There are two power button cards in each set - one for the monitor power button and one for the system unit power button. Powerpoint: Start powerpoint Explain basic differences between mouse and touchpad Explain different types of clicking with a mouse Make sure all computers are off and have students practice different types of clicking.
