Chapters Overview Logging In Settings and Setup
Overview Time conditions define a set of rules based on time groups. A time condition has two call destinations, one if the time of the call matches the time group assigned, and another if there is no match. Time conditions are often used to control how the PBX routes calls during and outside business hours. Logging In Log into the module and you should see a screen like this. On the right, you can add new time conditions and see a list of existing time conditions. Time Condition name: --Select a Group-- Destination if time does not match: Submit Settings and Setup To create a new time group, open the module and click on Add Time Group. Time Condition name: --Select a Group--
Time Condition Name- Enter a description to identify this time group. For example, Closed Hours works better than something generic like Time Condition 1. Enable Override Code- Checking this box will create and enable a feature code that will allow you to override the time condition. If enabled when this feature is dialed on the system, your time condition will be manually changed. Time Group Drop-down- This toggle allows you to select the time group this condition will be checked against. You can create new time groups in the Time Group module. The last two sections set the destinations for the time condtions. Destination if time does not match: Destination if time matches- This is where you will define the call target when the time matches the times defined in the assigned time group. Destination if time does not match- This is the call target for when the time does not match the time group assigned. In this example, we will set up a time condition for a small business. Time Condition name: --Select a Group-- Add Additional Times to Your Group- We will start by naming the new time conditions, enable an override and select a time group we created that includes all of the times our business is closed. See the Time Group module user guide to learn how to setup time groups.
Voic Blasting Company Voic <500> Destination if time does not match: Next we will define our matching and non matching destinations. In our example, if we are closed, we will send the call to a voic blast group. If the time does not match, we will send the calls to another time condition we have created for. We could also have just sent the non matching calls directly to a ring group, IVR, extension or any other call target on the system. Once you press the Submit button, the time condition will appear on the list on the right and you will be able to assign it as a destination target on your system. Submit Re-opening the time condition will allow you to view additional options. Time Condition Destination- By hovering your mouse above the help icon next to USED as Destination by 1 Object, you will be able to view the destinations that have assigned this time condition as a target. Time Condition: 2 - Delete Time Condition: (2) Used as Destination by 1 Object: Edit Inbound Route: Main Phone Number ( /) Override Code- Once you re-open the time condition, it will show you the override code assigned to this conditions. In this example it s *272.
Time Condition: 2 - Delete Time Condition: (2) Used as Destination by 1 Object: Edit Inbound Route: Main Phone Number ( /) Current Override: Indicates the current state of this time condition. If it s in a Temporary Override State, it will automatically resume at the next time transition based on the associated time group. If in a Permanent Override State, it will stay in that state until changed here or through other means such as external XML applications on your phone. If No Override, then it functions normally based on the time schedule. Current Override: (*272) Temporary Override unmatching state You can adjust the override by dialing the associated feature code or by using the drop-down options in the module. Current Override: Change Override: Goto Current Time Group No Override Unchanged Unchanged Reset Override Temporary matched Permanently matched Temporary unmatched Permanently unmatched
