Unfinished Business a) IOS v.0 V&V comments A.S00~-C comment resolution continues to proceed in the IOS v.0 V&V Ad-Hoc. Documents GPP- A Editorial Plan for IOSv.0 pub editorial plan was superseded by A Documents GPP- A Editorial Plan for IOSv.0 pub editorial plan was presented by Motorola. The contribution proposed an editorial plan for publishing IOS v.0 in February 00. b) HAT Authentication V&V comments Document GPP A A A.S000 V&V Combined Comments Resolved were accepted by the TSG. Document GPP A C A.S000 v0. Interoperability Specification (IOS) for Hybrid MS/AT (HAT) Authentication was approved for publication and sent out for SC review.. New business a) TSG Chair and Vice Chair Elections Chair and Vice Chair elections were scheduled for the December meeting. The GPP Secretariat staff was present to conduct the elections. After a final call for nomination letters, there were no nominations for TSG-A Chair. Sprint submitted a letter of support for George Turnipseed to continue as TSG-A Chair. KDDI and Samsung submitted nomination letters for Wasuke Sato and Bill Semper respectively for the two TSG-A vice Chair positions. The current Vice Chairs were the only candidates. Therefore no TSG-A elections were held. According to Article of the WPD, If no other candidates are available, the Chair or Vice Chairs may be appointed for a further term. b) Protocol Alignment The Protocol Alignment Reference Document, GPP S.P00, A A (and Br) was accepted to be transferred back to TSG-S. b)c) HRPD Features Document GPP- A r HRPD Intra-technology Active Handoff Work Item was presented by Sprint. This contribution proposes adding handoff while the AT is in the active

5 0 0 state as an A.S000-A Addendum/point release and an A.S000-0 Addendum/point release support for TIA- based handsets. This functionality may be included in A.S000-A and A.S000-0 publications the priority is to first complete Cross Technology Paging and QoS. The contributing companies plan to support this work item with contributions and invite other companies to also contribute to the same. The contribution was accepted and remanded to WG.. Working Group Reports None 0. Review Assignments None. Next meeting schedule The Chair presented document GPP-A Vancouver Meeting Notice was referenced as the January TSG meeting notice and agenda.. Open discussion The TSG expressed appreciation to China Unicom and Huawei for all the accommodations in hosting the Shanghai meeting..
