GPP-A r1 correspondence to TSG-C concerning questions on how the hybrid AT tunes periodically to IS-000 system during the 1x EV DO active/inactive connection to check for IS- 000 page message etc.. Old Business a. Tandem Free Operation GPP-A CDMA Tandem Free Operation Specification (TFO) Release B baseline text was delivered for V&V. V&V is expected to be completed by April, 001. GPP-A contribution details the proposed changes to TFO. Two features were included in this version of the specification. They are: 1) support for DTMF tones and ) uniquely identifiable version number. b. ALL IP Workplan GPP-A recommends various possible IP related RAN developments be clarified so that the working group has appropriate direction to continue its work.. New business a. 001 work plan GPP-A r1 from Sprint PCS proposed changes to TSG-A 001 Work Plan. I was approved as modified. b. Documentation The documentation ad-hoc met after the TSG-A closing plenary.

6 GPP Access Network Interfaces Technical Specification Group April, 001. Working Group reports GPP-A Working Group reports for this meeting will be approved before or at the next TSG-A meeting. Working Group A: Some progress was made toward completing the baseline text for IOS v. features including progress toward an agreement on the IP transport in the RAN. If was reported that v.1 ballot must be completed before v. baseline is frozen. One day was requested for the next meeting, including time for WGA. Working Group B: Naoto Itoh (KDDI), WGB chair reported on the progress of the Abis Technical Specification. The V&V work was completed and the approved text was presented to the TSG. One half day was requested for the next meeting (Tuesday afternoon). Working Group C: Much progress was made toward completing phase 1 of the 1XEV-DO baseline text. One and a half working days were requested for WGC and the All IP ad-hoc for the next meeting.. Review assignments Conference calls to be scheduled as followed: 1. WGA /.. IP transport in cdma000 RAN / IOS V.1 ballot resolution.. WGC.1 1xEV-DO. WGC. IP RAN. Next meeting schedule Document GPP-A r1 is the meeting notice for the meeting scheduled for April 1, 001. It was accepted as modified. 1. Open discussions
