1 AUDIO DIAL OUT For Adobe Connect meetings using teleconference audio, you will be automatically prompted to provide a call-back number for the system to call you into the teleconference after joining the meeting. Make sure the Dial-out option is selected (not necessary in the ipad app.) ipad After you enter a phone number, click Join on a laptop or Call my Phone on an ipad. The system will call the number you provided and you will be teleconferenced into the meeting. Notes: If alone, use a headset or ear buds others in the room.. If in a conference room, sit close to the phone. Speak to the phone, try not to turn to speak to

3 AUDIO INTERNAL MICROPHONE To start your microphone, click on the arrow next to the microphone icon. Choose Select Microphone from the dropdown menu and then choose the microphone you are using. On the ipad app, click Connect my microphone. ipad

4 VIDEO - LAPTOP/DESKTOP In the Adobe Connect meeting window, click the arrow next to the webcam icon to display a drop-down list. If you have multiple webcams listed, try each one until you see your video appear on the screen. Adjust the angle of your webcam as needed and then click Start Sharing. After doing that, your video will be visible to everyone else in the Adobe Connect meeting. Adjust camera: Even, front lighting Eyes in top of screen To pause video, press the pause icon. To stop sharing your video, hover your cursor over your video and click the X in the upper right corner. Click the webcam icon to share your video again. Notes: Each participant should use the webcam on their computer. Do not use a centralized webcam (in a conference room), unless you have help.

5 VIDEO - IPAD Tap the webcam icon When your video appears on the screen, using your ipad stand, adjust the angle of your camera as needed and then click Broadcast.. After doing that, your video will be visible to everyone else in the Adobe Connect meeting. To pause video, press the pause icon (). To stop sharing your video, tap the X in the upper right corner (). Tap the webcam icon to share your video again. These don t work in this scenario no pause or x icon also not sure if reconnect works the same way

6 EMOTICONS To interact during the meeting, use the Indicate Status emoticons by clicking on the arrow next to the person icon. Select the emoticon you you wish to utilize. ipad

7 CHAT Adobe Connect allows you to chat with the moderators, presenter and other participants using the chat feature: Click in the bar below to begin typing Click on the chat icon to send, or just press return on your keyboard For ipad text tap the chat pod and enter text in text field, click submit You can also change your font size and color by clicking on the options icon as shown You can start a private chat using the Attendee icon. Click on the options button. Then click on Start Chat With. You will be able to select the Hosts or Presenters. The private chat will show up at the bottom of your chat window. The active chat (where you are typing your message) will be lighter. Please Note: You may have multiple chat windows at a time indicated by the tabs below the chat text box. To switch between them, click on each tab. To close, click the X in the corner of each tab. ipad
