The unit shall be of heavy-duty construction and capable of sustained operation in a commercial/municipal operation. The unit shall have a dynamic range of 140 decibels. The unit shall have a depth range of 20 feet. The unit shall have left-right guidance through both LCD indicators and audio prompts. The unit shall have fully automatic gain adjustment. The unit shall have a display that indicates digital signal strength, battery level, operating frequency mode, estimated and calculated depth, self-test status, speaker volume, signal lock, and left-right arrows. The unit shall have dynamic overload protection that filters out large and unwanted signals. The unit shall indicate depth to within 5% from 4 inches to 10 feet. The unit shall have a compass that allows the operator to follow the target line by visually indicating the relative orientation of the target cable. Delivery quoted must be stated in terms of work days after receipt of the order. All charges for shipping must be included within the Unit Price for each item quote unless otherwise designated by a separate line with a specified dollar amount inclusive of all shipping charges. No freight charges will be considered nor processed for payment unless apart of the original quote submitted prior to bid award.
