Key features of the ew maiframes The ew lie of Multichael Power Supply Systems cosists of two differet versios of completely redesiged maiframes: The SY4527 is the experimet versio ad it is the replacemet of the SY1527. It cosists of a 19 wide / 8U high maiframe. SY4527 ca house up to 16 boards, to which it ca provide up to 4.2kW (see chapter 9 for detailed techical specificatios). The SY5527 is the laboratory versio ad it is the replacemet of the SY2527. It cosists of a 19 wide / 4U high maiframe. SY5527 ca house up to 6 boards, to which it ca provide up to 1.8kW (see chapter 10 for detailed techical specificatios). COMMON FEATURES: The power supply sectio is modular ad based o easy-to-replace uits. The cotrol sectio is based o a completely re-desiged CPU module, which is also easily replaceable by user, ad available i three versios: BASIC, ADVANCED ad FULL. The cotrol ca be doe both REMOTELY (via Gigabit Etheret or optioally via Wi-Fi) ad LOCALLY (via a optioal Colour Touchscree LCD). A ew backplae fully-compatible with all the boards (power supply, distributors, brach cotrollers) developed for the SY1527/SY2527, which ow adds the support to high speed commuicatio (via FLEXRAY bus) ad to high power 48V distributio (via a ew backplae coector) for future developmets. A completely New Software with graphical iterface has bee developed: it permits to maage, set ad moitor all the parameters of the system ad of the boards istalled. A ew set of additioal features is ow available: ALARMING, LOGGING ad SCRIPTING (this set is optioal). The software permits to cotrol the maiframe both locally (istalled o the Touchscree LCD display) ad remotely (istalled o a PC or o a TABLET coected via Gigabit Etheret or via Wi-Fi). Both ew maiframes are available i PREMIUM Versio, which icludes the Touchscree Display, the Wi-Fi coectivity, Full Versio of the CPU ad the full-features software.

Power Supplies There are 3 differet power supply modules for SY4527/SY5525: - Primary Power Supply 600W: it is the basic block ad it icludes the SERVICE PSU ad 600W PSU for boards i a sigle slot module. Each System icludes oe Primary Power Supply 600W. - Optioal Sigle Power Supply Uit 600W: this PSU adds 600W of power i a sigle slot module. This is a optioal item to be ordered separately. - Optioal Double Power Supply Uit 1200W: this PSU adds 1200W of power i a sigle slot module. This is a optioal item to be ordered separately. - Primary PSU 600W Optioal Sigle PSU 600W Optioal Double PSU 1200W Mod. A4531 Mod. A4532 Mod. A4533 NOTE: I SY4527 the max umber of PSU which ca be istalled is 4 (1 Primary ad 3 Optioal). I case the SY4527 is equipped with LCD display the max umber is 2 (1 Primary ad 1 Optioal).
