The mai differece is the all ew frot pael touchscree desig which replaces the older VF display ad LED illumiated keypad foud o the G2S maiframes. These uits provide the systems egieer with oe of the best itegrated solutios for cotrollig ad packagig a large variety of switchig modules ad cards i four stadard rack mouted packages. Powerful ad streamlied multiprocessor cotrol features built ito the uits allow the user to smoothly itegrate the G2T maiframe to fit a multitude of applicatios. A variety of modules from the G2 product lie may be istalled for various switchig, distributio ad processig fuctios depedig o your specific applicatio. Solidstate, digital ad relay-based switchig modules ca be istalled withi secods. Our selectio of plug-i modules spa a frequecy rage of DC to 40GHz, ad switchig cofiguratios from 1x2 to 64x64. 2 Overview G2T maiframes are equipped with cool-ruig switchig power supplies ad user friedly frot pael touchscree displays. The uits also accept oe or two (two o the 6RU ad 8RU uits) plug-i cotrol CPUs that provide remote cotrol to ay modules istalled withi the module bay. The miimum cotroller cofiguratio is oe CPU with a 10/100 Etheret port (C820). Additioal stadard iterfaces are also available (RS-232C, RS-422A, multi-drop RS-485 ad GPIB) with the model C820-GS CPU. System cotrol optios ad switchig cofiguratios are stored i o-volatile FLASH memory. A miimum of 199 differet switchig cofiguratios may be stored i memory ad may be recalled with a sigle commad. This greatly simplifies cotrol of commoly used cofiguratios. For power up coditios, the system may be set to recall the last cofiguratio sice power dow, or to completely clear all crosspoit coectios. Due to its compact size, it caot be cofigured with dual CPUs or dual AC power iput circuits. This is the oly G2T uit that icludes the cotroller (CPU) from the factory. While deliverig six module slots i a 3RU package, it provides a sigle rearfacig cotroller CPU slot plus the capacity to have higed frot pael access to the redudat hot-swap power supplies. Eve though it is a compact 3RU uit, it icorporates dual AC power iput circuits. A sigle compatible C820 cotroller CPU ca be istalled ito the sigle rear-facig CPU slot.
