7 Connected Car - ecall Definition ecall is an esafety technology that is promoted by the European Commission The ecall system would automatically alert Europe s emergency number, 112, in the case of a serious accident On 19 th June, 2012, the EC adopted a resolution that all new cars sold after 2015 should be fitted with ecall devices 7
