7 Assessment Tools and Strategies: The students will be assessed throughout the term as follows: Graded Class Work: Students will be taking one graded class work in each term. Quiz: Each term will have 1 quiz based on the curriculum covered/taught till the quiz date. The quiz material will be sent home accordingly in the HW plan. Class Participation: Each student s practical work is monitored in every class. The students will be assessed on how well they participate in the practical work in ICT. Project: At the end of each Term, the students will finish a project as per their book. This is a group activity. Graded Worksheet: The students will be assessed on worksheets based on theory. Student s Portfolio: The students will maintain a portfolio of their practical work which will be marked at the end of each term. Exam: The students will be assessed on a practical end term exam. This exam will take place twice in an academic term (Term 1 and 3). Note: Passing marks of each type of assessment is 60 %
