3 ScriptSure erx Interface 1 About ScriptSure ScriptSure is a SureScripts GOLD certified product and rated #1 eprescribing software for its breadth of technology and ease of use. Print, fax or electronically send prescriptions directly to pharmacies. Includes pre programmed medications with formats making prescribing simple and easy. ScriptSure does this by combining full electronic prescribing options from SureScripts with class leading clinical databases from First Databank (FDB). Full PDR information is available for all prescription medications, injectable, vitamins, OTC medications and more. ScriptSure also includes 14 different drug checks that can done on the fly; drugdrug, drug allergy, etc. Patient education is available in both English and Spanish from FDB and Multum. ScriptSure is a product line of electronic health record products. Within the line up there are several modules. Each module can function as a stand alone product or be used in conjunction with any other module. A user can decide to slowly adopt individual modules as the need arises. Combined, the modules makes up a full electronic medical record. Module List: Electronic prescribing core product Lab test lab and imaging tests Disease information sheets Notes Referrals Document imaging, Scheduling TECHNICAL OVERVIEW ScriptSure is a client server based system developed in Microsoft.NET and WPF and uses SQL Server 2008 SP2 for database management. To that we have Windows Communication Foundation services. Deciding on an interface is usually the first step in the process of the installation. An interface will allow for sharing of any patient information between the ScriptSure application and other software. For example: name, address, DOB, phone and more for a patient can be automatically delivered to the ScriptSure software via triggers. There are several options for interfacing: 1. Health Level 7 (HL7) 2. XML 3. Custom programming 4. ODBC links 5. Web Services Time Needed Establishing and testing an interface takes approximately 2 working days. This does require some coordination with technical staff. Installation Options We offer several options for installation. A practice can select one of the following: 1. Local Install of software and database at each location. Client server deployment. 2. Installation on sever and deployed via terminal services. 3. Installation on sever and deployed via Citrix. 4. Hosted access via web to Daw Systems datacenter. 5. Installation within virtual environment. Time Frame for Install Install time is less than 1 hour and is performed remotely (via internet) by ScriptSure technical staff.

4 ScriptSure has two simple installs: 1. Client Install 2. Server Install. These files are downloaded via secure FTP server to the computer and the installations are performed thereafter. (InstallShield driven installs) Training ScriptSure s #1 rating has a lot to do with its ease of use. The interface is simple, attractive and was designed to be intuitive with minimal clicks. In addition, users can customize many of the screens and functions. To facilitate user adoption, we offer several options for training users. Self paced options and live training options. We find that a minute training session via the internet is a very effective. For larger facilities, we also find that training several people very thoroughly and having those master users assist others is a very effective. Updates & Upgrades NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! Daw Systems, Inc. policy is to keep all paid support users on the most current version of ScriptSure. Anyone who has paid support is entitled to FREE SCRIPTSURE VERSION UPGRADES! Forms & Contracts Account and User forms must be completed for each user. Users can be setup by Administrator s who have access to ScriptSure. Monthly/Annual Option: 12 month contract renewed annually on same terms. Monthly/Annual Option: Charges are at start of month in pre payment. For example, we can create custom video tutorials tailored to your practice workflow. Support The End User License Agreement (EULA) contains all the specific terms of use and the Technical Support terms for ScriptSure Platinum Level Support includes unlimited phone and support for each purchase option with paid license and/or maintenance fees. Interchangeable user licenses: 1 FTE user per license. If a user is replaced there are no charges to replace user. Adding users is as simple as entering information on the add user screen or you can send in a form and our staff can do it for you. Additional Each DEA licensed user has 1 supporting users at no charge; supporting users cannot have DEA # s. Additional users can be added at the appropriate license price on the proposal; additional users added will be prorated, as appropriate, to the next license due date. No activation fees apply for additional users. 2

5 Purchase Options Choose ONE of these purchase options. when users will want to print medications, however. To that end, we offer two printing options: 1. The scope and product extended is the same, just alternative payment methods. Printing & Paper Printers ScriptSure has the ability to electronically send and receive electronic prescriptions. Daw Systems sells lasersheet security paper ($180 for 2000 scripts) and secure paper rolls for the above small format prescription printer ($14/roll 500scripts). 6 Updated: 1/2012 ScriptSure 2012 System Requirements ScriptSure Installed Locally In Office ScriptSure is optimized for Windows 7 Operating System. ScriptSure is a CLIENT SERVER application with a required client and server install. The patient data resides on one computer (Server) in your office and the other computers (Clients) on the same network as the Server can access the patient data. For small offices, the Server and the Client installs can be on the same computer. The above specs are for the Client computer(s), however, a computer with the Recommended Components below specifications will be able to act as a Server for up to 2 computers. Three or more computers will require a more powerful server (please contact sales for more information on the required specifications for a Server. The Server computer should always be the most powerful computer in the office. NOTE: Windows XP is no longer supported for ScriptSure software products.
