2 Description The IBM i operating system Value Pack contains the following: One processor entitlement for IBM i 6.1 (i5/os V6R1) (5761-SS1) or IBM i 5.4 (i5/os V5R4) (5722-SS1) on an IBM Power 570 or Power 595 system Licensing for System i Access (5722-XW1 or 5761-XW1) unlimited user entitlement The System i Access products offer you simplified user interfaces to work with IBM i resources. For example, you can quickly and easily: Gain access to traditional IBM i applications using 5250 emulation Query and retrieve IBM DB2 information without having to understand SQL concepts Upload spreadsheet information into DB2 for IBM i Use IBM i IFS as a file server Get IBM i printer output, convert it to PDF format, and print it on PC printers Incorporate the use of servers to distribute files, database information, and printer output through simple point-and-click interfaces The following products are included in the System i Access family: System i Access for Windows (includes System i Navigator and Operations Console) System i Access for Web System i Access for Linux System i Access for Wireless Vouchers: Service and education vouchers can help you more fully understand and use the latest features and capabilities of the IBM i operating system on the Power Systems platform.
