3 Enable Standard SMARTdocument Travel Authentication (no Secure Access) 1.) Double-click the Xerox EIP Connect Icon in your workflow 2.) Configure global Authentication Settings Select the Authentication tab Select Windows from the drop down list Fill in the appropriate Domain information. Use the same domain information as configured with the Secure Access server Page 3

4 3.) Edit the appropriate group(s) The assumption is that all your workflows fall into the Common Group category. If you have multiple groups established you can set different Authentication schemes for each Select the Groups tab Highlight Common Group Select Edit 4.) Configure group authentication settings In the Group Settings window select the Authentication tab Select the Requires Authentication Checkbox Select the Use Global Authentication Settings checkbox Select OK (two times) to close the remaining open windows Page 4

5 5.) Save and Restart the Service Press Save to save the configuration file Press Restart to restart the SMARTdocument Travel service 6.) Test login at MFP Attempt to login using various known users via SMARTdocument Travel login screens Page 5

6 Restrict workflows to users (AD groups) 1.) Double-click the Xerox EIP Connect Icon in your workflow 2.) Select workflows or menus As an administrator you have the opportunity to restrict access to all workflows that fall under a certain menu item or you can restrict access to individual workflows. Highlight the Menu or Workflow you want to apply restricted access to Select Edit Note the following screens may vary whether you are modifying at the menu item level or at the workflow level. 3) Configure Access Control Select the Restricted Access radio button You can either type or search on the appropriate Active Directory groups to allow access Select OK when done adding all groups Page 6

7 4.) Save and Restart the Service Press Save to save the configuration file Press Restart to restart the SMARTdocument Travel service 5.) Test login at MFP Attempt to login using various known users that are contained within different AD groups Workflows should appear for only those groups that were granted access Page 7

8 Enable Authentication via Secure Access (Ysoft, Safecom, Equitrac, etc) 1.) Double-click the Xerox EIP Connect Icon in your workflow 2.) Edit the appropriate group(s) The assumption is that all your workflows fall into the Common Group category. Configure group authentication settings In the Group Settings window select the Authentication tab Select the Query device Authentication session for Credentials checkbox Select OK (two times) to close the remaining open windows 4.) Save and Restart the Service Press Save to save the configuration file Press Restart to restart the SMARTdocument Travel service 5.) Test login at MFP If Secure Access and the MFP are properly configured you will not longer be presented with SMARTdocument Travel login screens. You should now be able to authenticate via Secure Access with restricted access to workflows. Page 9
