Knowledge base article #1057 Automatic registration of Drivve Image on a Xerox device In order to enable communication between a Xerox device and Drivve Image, you have to add the device in the Drivve Image configuration tool and activate the automatic registration of Drivve Image on the device. Proceed as follows: 1. Start the Drivve Image configuration tool. 2. On the Tools menu, click Device Management. 3. Click the Add button. 4. Select the txpe Xerox EIP, enter the IP address and click the Connect button. Page 1 of 12

Select Security > SSL/TLS Settings. 8. Enable HTTP, SSL/TLS Communication and enter port 443 under the HTTP and SSL/TLS Communication Port Number. 9. Click the button Apply. 10. To successfully finish the connection of the Xerox device, the following settings need to be configured on the device: Log on as the administrator at the MFP by pressing the Log on / Log off button and enter your ID and password. Press the button Device Administration. A new menu will be opened. Click the Administration tab. Select General Functions and Display/Key on the right side. After selecting line 5 Choose the operating mode and Change Settings, enter the next menu. Choose an available space for the Drivve Image application and click Save. In the next menu, select User-defined Operating Mode and click Save. Now you will automatically be in the User-defined Operating Mode menu. Click Save. After Closing it, you will be back in the main menu of the application and the just created button for the Drivve Image application will be visible.
