3 When creating quotes throughout the day, it is very easy to lose track of a couple. With the Savance Enterprise program, there are different precautionary measures that you can take in order to prevent the loss of a quote. Some of these steps have to be taken by the administrator, while others have to be followed by the users. Administrator 2.1 Reports These reports will be able to specify the largest quotes that are open, quotes that are open during a certain time frame, and many other situations. 1. Open Savance Enterprise 2. Click the Reports button 3. Select the Reporting Engine option 4. Run a default report or create your own a. Type Quote into the search box to limit the options 3

For more information on reports, follow this link. 2.2 Report Permissions These reports are usually accessed by the administrators only, but you can give other users the permission to run these reports too. In order to give other users the correct permissions, you will have to edit their security group. 1. Open Savance Enterprise 2. Click the Admin button 3. Select the Administrator option 4. Go to the Security tab 5. Select and edit the Security Group that you are going to add to the users 2014 Savance 4
5 6. Expand the Application Security Objects by clicking the + 7. Expand the Menus option 8. Check Reports option 9. Follow this link for more information on Security Groups. 2.3 User Settings Another setting that the administrator should implement for their users include forcing them to create reminders or lost order reasons, when they form a quote. All of these settings, for requiring the users to setup reminders, are found in the security groups section of the administrator window. 1. Open Savance Enterprise 2. Click the Admin button 5
6 3. Select the Administrator option 4. Go to the Security tab 5. Select and edit the Security Group that you are going to assign to the users 6. Expand the Application Security Objects by clicking the + 7. Expand the Order Actions option 8. Check Force Reminders and Set Default Reminder 2014 Savance 6
7 2.4 Lost Quote Options One way for the user to select a lost order reason consists of the administrator adding quick pick options to select from. These are configured in the administrator window. 1. Open Savance Enterprise 2. Click the Admin button 7
8 3. Select the Administrator option 4. Go to the Pick Lists tab 5. Select List Order Reason Code 6. Click the button 7. Create your own reasons 8. These will be accessible when forming a quote in the Quality tab. General Users 3.1 User Options Once the settings are configured for a user, they will be forced to provide the necessary information to submit the quote Savance 8
9 1. Open Savance Enterprise 2. Begin a new quote 3. Go to the Quality tab 4. Select the date that you want to be reminded about the quote OR select a reason for why the quote was lost 5. Once the date arrives for the quote, it will be added to your In Basket section (Right side of the screen) 9
10 Result After following all of these actions, your quotes will be more organized, your company will have a smaller chance of forgetting about quotes, and you will be able to respond to them in a timely fashion.
