After I send feedback each week, I will post a notification in the Main forum.

Late assignments receive a 10% deduction for each day they are late if assignments are not posted by 11:59 p.m. central on the day they are due. Assignments more than 5 days late will not be accepted. Technological issues will not be considered as valid grounds for late assignment submission. In the event of a server outage, students should submit assignments to the instructor. The Basic Firefighter Academy is divided into 7 sections: Firefighter Certification I, II, III, IV, VI, and VII. In order to successfully complete this course, the student must receive a minimum passing score of 70% on every assignment, chapter test, Fire Learn test, HazMat assignment, and skills session; as well as receive a minimum passing score of 80% on every weekly test, Mid- Term, Final, and Final Comprehensive tests. Although individual grades are updated weekly, the final grade for this course will be determined on the percentages listed below: 5% Discussion Board 5% Blackboard Chapter Tests 5% Handout Assignments 5% Fire Learn Chapter Tests 10% Weekly Chapter Tests 20% Skills Sessions 15% Mid-Term Test 15% Final Test 20% Final Comprehensive Test Final grades will be determined according to the following point system: Special Needs A = 90%-100% B = 80%-89% C = 70%-79% F = 0%-69% Odessa College complies with Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
